Digital Foci has dressed up a portable multimedia player with a soft leader case and a built-in battery, as a contemporary digital portfolio art book, and readied to showcase at the upcoming PMA 2009. Dubbed “PBK-080 “, the Photo Book features a 8-inch 4:3 SVGA LCD, built-in speakers and a large 4GB built-in memory, along with a host of multimedia card readers to support music, video and digital still image playbacks.
As the world of digital photography gets more and more complex and the megapixel capability gets higher and higher, this also means you need more storage space on your digital camera. Because high resolution images are nice and all, but not if you can only fit one of them on the camera! That’s why Digital Foci will be showing off their Picture Porter 35 photo manager at CES this week.
Digital Foci were doing so well with their Image Moments 6 digital photo frame. The design is good – two-tone silver that neither looks too retro nor too modern – and the full-featured remote is handy; the screen – at 5.7-inch 640 x 480 VGA resolution – is just the right size and the file format compatibility broad. Then they went and spoilt it all by leaving out WiFi.
