DigiFi have announced their latest wireless audio products, based on Kleer’s lossless technology. The Digital Opera S2 and iPod-compatible Digital Opera S5 each come with a wireless transmitter dongle; the S2’s plugs into a standard 3.5mm headphone socket, while the S5’s uses an iPod’s dock connector and supports remote-control.
DigiFi’s first-generation Digital Opera headphones have only just gone on sale in the US, but the company has brought their replacement to CES this week. As well as that, they’ve also unveiled a set of over-the-air headphones and a PMP watch with an integrated Kleer wireless transmitter.
If the lossless wireless sound offered by Sleek Audio’s W-1 adapter appeals, but your budget doesn’t exactly stretch to the $320 the company asks for a set of SA6 earphones and the wireless system, DigiFi’s Digital Opera earphones may fit the bill. First announced back in May, up until now the earphones had only been available in Korea; now, Kleer themselves are offering them – together with other products using their lossless technology – in the US.
