Dell Latitude 10 and Win RT slate detailed plus wireless Ultrabook dock

Details of Dell's upcoming Windows tablet pair continue to leak out, with the latest talk suggesting the Latitude 10 Windows 8 model due in mid-November will be preceded by a Windows RT version. The Dell Latitude 10 launch will bring a new docking station with extra ports and charging, according to Neowin's source, while the Windows-on-ARM tablet - name currently unknown - is tipped to arrive in October.

It's time for Ivy Bridge all over the Dell universe as back at the start of May Dell had the Vostro 470 Desktop as well as the XPS 8500 desktop boosted up to this newest generation of Intel solutions as well. The Vostro notebook lineup including the 13-inch 3360, 14-inch 3460, and 15-inch 3560 are all being pushed to options of either second or third generation Intel Core options this week.

Dell updates Inspiron 15R and 17R

In addition to the Inspiron 14z, Dell has unveiled two other Inspiron models, the 15R and 17R. The R is designed to bring a bit of a performance boost over the standard offerings, although the base models of both laptops still feature Sandy Bridge processors (Ivy Bridge upgrades are available). They’re certainly heavy, with the lightest laptop coming in at 6.05 lbs, but the prices are low too, with the 15R starting from $549.99 and the 17R starting at $599.99.

Dell has today announced a new Ultrabook in its lineup, the Inspiron 14z. Dell is hoping that the budget offerings will entice students, and the design has been tweaked to add some more supple curves. If you’re hoping to find Ivy Bridge lurking beneath the chassis, you’ll be in for a disappointment: the Ultrabook comes equipped with a ULV Sandy Bridge Core i3 processor, although Core i5 and Core i7 Ivy Bridge upgrades are available.
