If carrying your computer like a plastic handbag appeals, and you’re also a fan of pen-computing, then Daewoo’s latest netbook may be the best thing for you.  The SOLO C920-mini starts from humble netbook beginnings – an Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 60GB 1.8-inch 4,200rpm hard-drive – then throws in an 8.9-inch touchscreen and nifty carrying handle.

did fsdaewooA room divider always make a stylish statement but one with an LCD display? That really makes a statement. And one with four LCD displays–well, that’s in a category all its own.

The Daewoo DID-FS Digital Folding Screen has 4 interconnected panels that divide a room and feature 4 separate LCD displays. Daewoo’s Two-Door Microwave

By Rue Liu on Saturday, Oct 14th 2006 No Comments

Daewoo is really pushing the boundaries of your microwave, from the voice-activated microwave to now the two-door microwave. Gosh, what will they think of next? Either human beings are really getting that lazy, or Daewoo is scheming to make us so. Yeah, it’s great we don’t have to push buttons on the microwave anymore, but now we don’t even need to walk over to the front of the microwave to retrieve our food. Perhaps, their next microwave should just beam the food out on to the dining table when it’s done. Expect to see this two-door microwave out sometime in 2007.

We were too lazy to cook, so we created the microwave. Now we’re too lazy to press the buttons on the microwave, so we create a voice-activated microwave. Soon we’ll be too lazy to speak, and the microwave must read our minds as well as play mp3s, have Bluetooth, and connect to the internet. From Daewoo, this new voice-activated microwave can store up to 40 voice commands. So just talk to the microwave and it will know exactly the right time and temperature for what you want to cook. 95 percent accuracy. Coming to market in 2007.
