Sony have announced a pair of new digital cameras, the Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1, complete with the company’s latest Exmore R back-illuminated CMOS sensor. Each packs 10.2-megapixel resolution, with the slimline TX1 having a 4x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tesar optical zoom, 720p video recording and a 3-inch LCD display, while the WX1 gets a larger 5x Sony G Lens optical zoom, 720p and a smaller 2.7-inch LCD.
It would have a well kept secret if weren’t for the store’s cache. Last week rumor turned fact with Sony unveiled the 9mp super zoom DSC-HX1 camera at PMA’s eve. The new Cyber-shot features 20x optics and company’s newly-developed Exmore CMOS sensor with ability to burst 10 fps at full resolution.
Internet photography-rated community forum is citing a new compact Sony’s CyberShot DSC-HX1 would unveil at next week’s PMA show. It was a typical pre-show rumor at first, but started to show credibility with online store cache revealed a 9 megapixel, 20x ultra zoom HX1 with Full HD video recording feature.
Another pair of Sony’s Cyber-Shot are premium T-series DSC-T90 and DSC-T900 with stylish designs, performance features, oversized touchscreen panel and are housed in an ultra slim and pocket-sized casing.
The new Sony H20 is company’s budget ultra-zoom Cyber-shot with performance features. The 10 megapixel gets superior Carl Zeiss 10x optical zoom lens that’s good for 38-380mm (35mm equiv) ) focus distances, and can record 720P HD movies with a 3-inch LCD screen.
