This morning at the 2nd full day's keynote at CTIA 2012, VISA President John Partridge offered the company's view on how the mobile world will expand in the very near future. In and important step in the story of banking across the earth, mobile banking specifically, 2.5 billion "unbanked" adults across were introduced to mobile banking in the very recent past which has "transformed the lives of millions of people" said Partridge. "NFC technology has been the global mobile payment standard technology" noted Partridge, "this is a critical step," through "VISA has moved beyond this method" with V.me by VISA.

VISA President: we’ve “moved beyond” NFC
EA Games CEO promises “mobile won’t kill consoles”
This week at CTIA in the second full day’s Keynote series, John Riccitiello has been introduced as not only the current CEO of Electronic Arts, but as a frequent participant in CTIA and the whole mobile world as well. He began speaking on how Electronic Arts would be a proponent of innovation and change in the mobile industry with games, of course. Showing an intense series of images in rapid succession with maddeningly loud dance music, he showed essentially how EA games has not just a few, but an absolutely giant amount of games out at the moment with mobile potential.
Mozilla CEO: “Apple showed us the way”
This week Gary Kovacs, CEO of the Mozilla Corporation used AOL and their original model of web service as an example for how the next chapter of the internet worked out here in our present. Speaking first on how its important to look to the past in order to move forward with the future, saying that "You've got mail" were the first words he'd heard on the web, "AOL changed our world" noted Kovacs. Putting the CD in your computer expanded your world right up until 2002 where the whole thing collapsed and AOL went back to 3 million subscribers here in the present, this just 1 million more than they had back in 1995.

Apple modified nano-SIM spied at CTIA
More and more OEMs seem to be moving towards the micro-SIM standard, but it was Apple that set the ball rolling with the introduction of the iPhone 4. Now it's looking towards the future, debating with other OEMs regarding the nano-SIM standard to be used in the future. Nokia has its own design, competing against Apple in order to ratify the standard, but a recent change to Cupertino’s design could put it near the front of the pack.

Jabra Supreme UC Bluetooth headset Hands-on
This week the folks at Jabra are bringing up their game with a brand new Bluetooth headset by the name of Jabra Supreme, and we’ve gotten the chance to see and hold (but not hear) it at Pepcom during CTIA 2012. This lovely little beast has what appears at first to be a bigger than usual earpiece when you consider the competition, but once you hear the sound and the sound cancellation, Jabra notes, you’ll know where all that extra space went. Energizer Multi-port charger pack hands-on
Since we all wish our phones or tablets lasted longer we decided to hunt out a few charger packs while roaming the halls at CTIA 2012. One we came across was the Energizer multi-port charger. What makes this unique is the multiple ports for charging. One for smartphones, and another higher output port for Android tablets or even that shiny new iPad.

Toshiba Excite 13-inch Android tablet hands-on
It's time for Toshiba to bring the fire with a real live working unit of the Excite 13-inch tablet at Pepcom during CTIA 2012. This device is a massive yet thin beast running Android 4.0 ICS and toting a taste for full-screen web browsing without a doubt. It's got Gorilla Glass on the front, aluminum on the back, and is surprisingly light for how massive it appears. The display is 13.3-inches of LCD with 1600 x 900 pixels placed upon it - 16:9 for an ideal media experience - if you love gigantic images right in front of your face, of course!

Tech21 demonstrates D30 impact fabric: we go hands-on
This week we've gotten our hands all covered in goop as Tech21 CEO Jason Roberts demonstrated for us the power of D30 impact fabric, a material they've got exclusive rights to for electronics-related implementation. What we've got here is a material you might recognize as Silly Puddy - it's close, but not precisely the same. While that toy was used to pick up the ink from newspapers and squish around for fun, this material is used to protect your smart devices from impact - devices which include the iPhone, Android smartphones of all kinds, and even larger devices such as the MacBook Pro.
