Nintendo hasn’t yet announced when you’ll be able to sit a Wii U beneath your television, and pricing is still a mystery too, but the company has gone into detail regarding its launch lineup at E3. Nintendo confirms dual Wii U controller support, details gameplay

The main attraction of the Wii U is definitely the handheld controller with integrated touchscreen, although Nintendo did reveal a while ago that only one such controller would work on the console. Now the company has backtracked, saying today at its E3 conference that two controllers will in fact work. EA Games CEO promises “mobile won’t kill consoles”

This week at CTIA in the second full day’s Keynote series, John Riccitiello has been introduced as not only the current CEO of Electronic Arts, but as a frequent participant in CTIA and the whole mobile world as well. He began speaking on how Electronic Arts would be a proponent of innovation and change in the mobile industry with games, of course. Showing an intense series of images in rapid succession with maddeningly loud dance music, he showed essentially how EA games has not just a few, but an absolutely giant amount of games out at the moment with mobile potential.

Xbox sales slide as Xbox 720 hunger increases

Demand for Microsoft's Xbox 360 has slumped, with underwhelming sales pushing the company's usually high-flying Entertainment & Devices Division to post an atypical loss. While Microsoft's overall made a profit in Q1 2012, the Xbox team saw a 16-percent decrease in profit in its division. The company blamed lower demand for the aging console, as well as increased research, development and marketing costs for Windows Phone, which also falls under the divisional umbrella. Dragon Ball Z Kinect announced for October release

Looks like more and more developers are jumping on the Kinect bandwagon. Bethesda Studios announced yesterday that Skyrim would be able to take advantage of Kinect voice commands in an update coming later this month, and now a beloved franchise will be receiving the same motion capture treatment. Xbox 720 rumored to have 16-core CPU

Another day, another next-generation console rumor. Once again, the specifications for the Xbox 720 are being hinted at. Previously we’d heard that the Xbox 720 will come in two flavours: a low-power and basic ARM version that will run apps, and the “main” console. The more powerful of the two was tipped to have two GPUs that could render graphics independant of each other, and a new rumor indicates the Xbox 720 could have a CPU with 16 cores. Valve job listing points to potential hardware offering

Last month, a rumor arose indicating that Valve was working on a “Steam Box” designed to rival console experiences. The company was said to be looking to use powerful PC hardware, like an Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA graphics card, and pairing it with a customized software experience. The box wouldn’t be locked down though, with Valve hoping to establish a hardware set of minimum hardware guidelines for developers.
