Seoul wins first Audi Urban Future Award 2014 Science Slam

Earlier this year the Audi Urban Future Award 2014 was announced, calling upon four teams of innovators to create a concept surrounding "The Next Leap in Mobility." At Audi’s headquarters in Ingoldstadt, a "Science Slam" was held this Wednesday. At this Science Slam, each of the four teams, representing Berlin, Boston, Mexico City, and Spain, presented their idea on stage for an audience of judges.

Lexus LF-NX Crossover Hybrid concept aims at compact SUV in Frankfurt

The Frankfurt Motor Show is in full swing this week, today showing off the Lexus LF-NX Crossover Hybrid Concept car to the world. This vehicles comes in at a cool 182.7 inches long with a solid 106.3-inch wheelbase, aiming to come in with a smaller size than what Lexus describes as the vehicle the pioneered the premium crossover segment in 1998: the RX sport utility vehicle. Inside this machine works with what Lexus describes as a "Human Oriented" L-finesse design previously popping up on the LFA and the new IS, aiming for boldness with a sculpted cockpit made with ergonomics in mind.

iPhone Plus mock-up offers real 4.94-inch display vision

This week the developer of Instapaper, Mr. Marco Arment, has created a rather intriguing mock-up of what the "iPhone Plus" would look like, using specifications, tips, and rumors to push the idea of this device as close to reality as possible. The device itself would work as an in-between aside the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini, filling in the perceived "gap" left at the moment where no iOS device currently exists. The iPhone Plus (or iPhone+ or iPhone Math) would work with a 4.94-inch display and a lovely 640 x 1136 pixel (264 PPI) resolution.
