iPhone 5 More @ Less Concept Phone cuts the Bulk

iPhone 5 More @ Less Concept Phone cuts the Bulk

Though you may think your iPhone is already as small as its going to get, industrial designer Zeki Ozek has a different idea: cut MORE off of the non-display hardware off than the already ultra-minimalistic iPhone 4 already has, taking a page out of Android's next OS version Ice Cream Sandwich's book of button-less workings and adding on gestures. Changes in this hypothetical device include OS changes as well of course, including the ability to assign one app to each of your fingerprints - if there's one thing I want in life from a future phone, it's that.

Cornobi (Wan): The picnic’s only hope

Cornobi (Wan): The picnic’s only hope

I bet when the Jedi have their annual picnic each year, this is the corncob holder that they use. This thing is really cool, yet weird at the same time. I almost had a stroke trying to figure out how to meld Star Wars jokes and Beavis and Butthead references into one post. You truly would be the Great Cornholio with one of these. This is a concept product from Shed Samovar and it should be made.

Eyeshadow of the future uses LEDs not makeup

Eyeshadow of the future uses LEDs not makeup

I admit that Ii have never understood makeup. I can get that women wear the stuff to make them look better (so they think) and cover up things on the face like blemishes. The part I have never understood is why some women wear makeup that is in weird colors or is plastered on their face. To each their own, I guess. I once knew a woman that had her makeup tattooed on her face so she would wake up ready to go. Geeky women or anyone else that likes eyeshadow and raves will appreciate this LED eyeshadow.

Donax Seashell Headphones by the Seashore

Nature's most awesome amplifier is an echo, sure, but what's nature's most excellent sound container? A seashell of course, it's got the entire ocean hidden inside, all of the sound just waiting for you to listen. Apostol Tnokovski knows this, and he's right on the cuff of turning nature back into something we can package. Thusly there is the Donax headphone set, available in black or white. Should they be cordless? What about real shells, where does this leave them?

Aqua clock concept looks like Tron’s identity disk

Aqua clock concept looks like Tron’s identity disk

At first glance, it looks like Tron missed his identity disc when it was flicked back to him from someone he was trying to derez. This is actually an interesting concept clock that has turned up over on Yanko Design. Designers really like to create wild clocks that are only marginally capable of actually telling the user what time it is. The clock is filled with what appears to be colored water and has some sort of mechanism inside to change the level of the liquid.

PaperPhone Flexible Smartphone Prototype, Responds To Touch And Bends

Earlier today we mentioned that E-Ink, the company behind those Amazon Kindle displays, have been busy working on new and improved E-Ink screens that can display full-color content. And with that, were some nifty videos of the E-Ink screens in action on various flexible materials including cloth and Tyvek. Well now we have some more nifty videos, but of E-Ink technology being harnessed by a group of researchers to produce a flexible smartphone dubbed the "PaperPhone."
