Dropbox Mailbox for Android and desktop revealed

Dropbox has announced Mailbox for Android and desktop, bringing its email client over from iOS, in addition to revealing Microsoft Office integration with Project Harmony. The new Mailbox app - which will be released for Android as a free app later today, though is not quite ready for desktop use - will also introduce some new features, such as synchronization across devices thanks to now requiring a Dropbox account to log in.

Nokia keeps hacking away at the so-called next billion mobile users, and now the Finnish company wants to get them hooked up to the cloud with the new Asha 230 and Nokia 220. Fresh to MWC 2014, the Asha 230 brings features familiar from the existing Asha touchscreen line to an even lower point of entry, price-wise, while the Nokia 220 has a more traditional form-factor but is also the company's cheapest ever device to include cellular data.

SkyDrive rebranded to OneDrive following legal tussle with British Sky Broadcasting

Trademarks are tricky business, often involving legal battles over whether a common word -- such as "sky" -- that is well-known for a specific brand -- such as British Sky Broadcasting -- can be snapped up from usage among other brands, such as Microsoft's SkyDrive. Such became the source of an infringement claim against Microsoft by BSkyB, and all of it has been followed by an announcement today that Microsoft will be rebranding SkyDrive to OneDrive.
