Altaz Internet Clock Radio Features 3.5-Inch Touchscreen

, Oct 18th 2010 Discuss [3]

While some alarm clocks out there may use "out of the box" ideas to wake you up, some of them like to keep it simple. The Altaz Internet Clock radio may feature plenty of extras in the package, but at its core it's still just a clock. Fortunately, though, if you do happen to wake up on the wrong side of the bed, hopefully you'll be able to lighten the mood with your favorite pictures displayed right there for you, or maybe the weather forecast for the day. Either way, the Internet Clock Radio has the power to try and give you what you want. Read The Full Story

Order in Chaos clock should be from Tokyoflash

, Sep 27th 2010 Discuss [0]

Generally, when we see weird clocks they are watches from Tokyoflash. If Tokyoflash made wall clocks, this would be what they offered. The clock is really big and called Order in Chaos. The clock looks like it has broken into lots of pieces with a single hand in the middle and numbers that are broken. Read The Full Story

The most accurate clocks in the world today are atomic clocks. These clocks are very important to all manner of things from space travel to synchronization of military efforts. Scientists have discovered what may be an even more accurate clock than the atomic variety. Read The Full Story

Attrito Clock Poles Bring Clocks to the Future

, Jun 2nd 2010 Discuss [0]

We might not be the biggest fans of traditional time telling, or clocks for that matter, but then again, if you've got something like the Attrito, how could you not be? Of course, our tastes for clocks might range on the strange side, or maybe even to the elegant, and that's why we think the Attrito stands out: it's the best of both worlds. When's the last time you saw a clock that was a pole, right? Read The Full Story

Moshi Voice Control Digital Clock Radio Makes Waking Up a Lot Harder

, May 19th 2010 Discuss [0]

There has to be a fine line between our alarm clocks getting smarter. Or, maybe not smarter, but rather easier to control. Because, we don't know about you, but the only way our alarm clock wakes us up, is if we have to get out of bed to turn it off. Then again, there has to be something said about an alarm clock we can talk to. And, even better, that does what we tell it to do. We love our voice commands, after all. Read The Full Story

Dwell clock has no hands just sticks

I have seen a lot of strange wrist watches come across Yanko Design, but a strange wall clock is relatively rare. The new Dwell clock uses straight sticks that move to tell time. Read The Full Story

Twitwee Clock replaces cuckoo with Twitter bird [Video]

, Apr 21st 2010 Discuss [0]

We're quite fond of bizarre gadgets that hook into Twitter, whether they be tweeting tables, monomes or robot fish, and so we're quite surprised that it's taken someone so long to use the blue Twitter bird logo in a tweeting cuckoo clock.  Happily Haroon Baig has filled that gap with his Twitwee Clock, a modified clock that replaces the traditional face with a set of chumby guts and keeps track of Twitter for a preset word, hashtag or username (in this case "TwitweeClock"). IllyClock squeezes color-changing time into coffee can [Video]

, Mar 19th 2010 Discuss [0]

While showing admirable recycling motivation, sticking a clock inside an old coffee can isn't enough to impress us; Instructables member florinc makes the grade because his DIY IllyClock adds in some color magic too.  Based on a Wiseduino - an Arduino clone with an integrated real-time clock - and an LED shield, the clock lights up its numerals in different shades depending on the time of day. Past Present Future Watch is a concept you can buy now

, Mar 15th 2010 Discuss [0]

My wedding anniversary is this week and my wife has been strategically leaving catalogs from jewelry companies around the house with dog-eared pages. Not a very subtle hint at what she wants. A few of the pages are for those past, present, future diamond rings. I wonder if she would be happy with this new Past Present Future Watch, after all it's the same idea as the ring right? Crazy HDD clock is a geek dream

, Mar 8th 2010 Discuss [0]

I have several HDDs crammed in the drawers of my desk that I don't really have a use for. I have taken HDDs apart before just to see what was inside and a dude named Viacheslav Slavinsky has taken an old HDD and made one of the coolest clocks ever from the remains. Read The Full Story

Art. Lebedev Segmentus clock is digital and has hands

, Mar 5th 2010 Discuss [0]

In most geek circles the Art. Lebedev Studio is still mostly known for its cool Optimus Maximus keyboard with the OLED key tops. The design studio appears to have a fascination with ancient Rome since most of its product names sound like gladiators to me. Such is the case with the latest concept from the company called the Segmentus, which sounds like something a gladiator slave would be tortured with if they failed to honor the ludus where they train.
