It's the second official morning of CES 2012 and we're all set and seated at Qualcomm's keynote presentation, ready here to bet a heaping helping of chip news galore. Twitter and The Echo Nest team on music tweet integration
Twitter has partnered with music app data company The Echo Nest to integrate tweets from recording artists into apps, siphoning in messages from verified musician accounts on the short-form social network and pushing them into music apps. The service will mean apps that show lyrics, gig photos, band information or other music-related data can now also pull in Twitter updates from relevant artists.

Cerevo LiveShell livestreams Contour+ wearable camera
Wearable camera company Contour and live-streaming firm Cerevo have partnered to create the Cerevo LiveShell, a real-time video broadcasting adapter for the Contour+ camera. Hooking up via HDMI, the LiveShell can stream up to 480p video - the Contour+ can actually capture up to 1080p on its own - with remote control via a smartphone, tablet or PC. In fact, with a standard HDMI input, you can hook up many different camera types.

Skyrim demoed on Transformer Prime with Splashtop
Without so much of a hitch in the graphics, NVIDIA showed off the Transformer Prime running the app Splashtop, it running a desktop through its display and, believe it or not, the massively popular game Skyrim. Splashtop will certainly gain a whole lot of bonus users after this, you can bet - that and the Transformer Prime without a doubt. The PC renders the graphics, the Transformer Prime shows off the game, you play it.

BlueStacks reveals Android App Player for Windows 8
Android app virtualization specialists BlueStacks have announced a version of its cross-platform software support for Windows 8, adding titles created for Android phones and tablets to the Metro UI of Microsoft's upcoming OS. The new version of BlueStacks App Player software will come preloaded on some new Windows 8 PCs later in the year, the company has confirmed.

D-Link outs new Cloud Camera 5000, Wireless N Day/Night camera, and Mobile Companion at CES
D-Link has a whole slew of new gear that it is showing off at CES 2012 in Vegas. Among the new offerings that the company is pushing are a couple new surveillance cameras. The new cameras include the cloud Camera 5000 DCS-5222L and the Enhanced Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera DCS-942L.

Vizio VAP430 STB and VBR430 Blu-ray pack Google TV
Vizio isn't just leaving Google TV to its R-Series 3D TVs: the company also has a compact Google TV STB, the Vizio VAP430, and a version with integrated Blu-ray, the VBR430. Vizio has unveiled its XVT Series CinemaWide HDTV line-up, a three-strong range of new LED LCD televisions that offer movie theater-style 21:9 aspect displays. Headlining the company's 2012 TV push, the XVT Series consists of the 50-inch XVT3D500CM, 58-inch XVT3D580CM and finally the 71-inch XVT3D710CM. Vizio R-Series 3D Google TV HDTVs revealed
Vizio has revealed its new Google TV range of HDTVs for 2012, the R-Series, with the company's Vizio Internet Apps Plus reskin of the Google platform delivering apps, search and streaming media in your living room. Consisting of the 42-inch R3D420VS, 47-inch R3D470VS, 55-inch R3D550VS and 65-inch R3D650VS, the R-Series line-up includes a dual-sided Bluetooth remote with a QWERTY keyboard on one side and a touchpad on the other, for easier navigation.

Qualcomm Skifta Media Shifting Platform to take on Sonos
Qualcomm has announced its Skifta Media Shifting Platform, a new push to get its DLNA/UPnP service into more home entertainment hardware, with the first kit to arrive being the Skifta Wireless Audio Adapter. Adding Skifta streaming support to existing home entertainment devices, the new adapter is set to drop sometime in the first half of this year. However, it's Skifta's upcoming hardware development kits and SDK that shoudl make the real difference, embedding the tech into wireless speakers, TVs, STBs, routers and NAS, and other A/V adapters.

Sony shows off Crystal LED Display at CES

Lenovo YOGA multitouch Win8 notebook has 360 folding screen
Lenovo's easel-style IdeaCentre A720 all-in-one isn't the only extra-flexible touchscreen PC from the company at CES; the Lenovo YOGA is a notebook with a patented 360-degree hinge that allows it to fold all the way back around. The 13.3-inch 1600 x 900 multitouch machine can be used as a laptop, as a tablet or stood up on a desk or table, while inside Windows 8 runs on Intel Core processors.
