Samsung have announced their first entries into the burgeoning ebook market, and as you'd expect they're not doing anything by halves.  The Samsung E6 has a 6-inch E Ink display and the Samsung E101 has a larger 10-inch display; both have touchscreens that respond to a dedicated stylus, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 for wireless downloads and exchanging content.

Kohjinsha D2 dual-display netbook hands-on

Tucked into the corner of AMD's CES 2010 booth we spotted Kohjinsha's dual-display netbook and couldn't help but check the Athlon Neo MV-40 powered machine out.  Curiously named the Kohjinsha D2, rather than as the DZ as we've seen up until now, the netbook still has twin 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LCD panels that nest together for transport and then pull out for side-by-side use.

LG Plasma HDTV CES 2010 range boast super-narrow bezels

LG Plasma HDTV CES 2010 range boast super-narrow bezels

In comparison to their huge 2010 LCD range, LG's new plasma HDTVs are conspicuous by their scarcity: the company have announced a mere eight new sets at CES 2010.  Among those six, however, are some impressive sounding beasts and some mighty fine design.  LG's TruSlim Frame models, for instance, the PK550 and PJ350, have bezels just 0.9-inches wide; all of the 2010 sets are around two-inches deep, too, and LG have shaved off considerable weight as well.

LG LCD HDTV CES 2010 range revealed: 3D-ready flagship Infinia LE9500

LG's CES 2010 LCD HDTV line-up may not be quite as technologically impressive as Toshiba's CELL-packing ZX900, but it certainly dwarfs it in terms of sheer number of models.  The company have announced a full 39 different HDTVs, ranging from the entry-level LD350 which kicks off at a modest 19-inches, through to the Infinia LE9500 flagship with up to 55-inch panels, skinny 8.5mm bezels, Full HD 1080p, Skype videocalls (assuming you plug in a webcam), 3D-ready support and streaming media from Netflix, VUDU, YouTube, Napster and Yahoo! Widgets.

Toshiba ZX900 Series CELL TV getting 2010 US release

Toshiba ZX900 Series CELL TV getting 2010 US release

"CELL," says Toshiba about its new range of CELL TVs for the US, "makes everything better", and while we're not sure whether that includes lingering health issues we'll concede that the company's new ZX900 Series CELL TV certainly cheers up any mild Winter depression we're having.  The vast 1080p HD set will come in 55- and 65-inch versions, and the CELL engine apparently throws in 143 times the processing power you'll find in a regular TV.  As for what Toshiba does with all that horsepower, they use it to churn through their new True Super Resolution technology.
