Acer Iconia A500, A100 and W500 confirmed for Vodafone

Acer's trio of tablets have apparently been picked up by Vodafone Germany, with the latest out of CeBIT 2011 being confirmation that the three models will all arrive in mid to late April. According to Steve Paine, the Iconia A500, Iconia W500 and Iconia A100 are locked in for the German market, though there's no word on whether Vodafone will be offering them in other countries. Up until now, Gigabyte's tablet efforts have generally run Windows and been convertible touchscreen netbooks; now, it seems, the company has decided it wants a bite of the Android slate market. Back in May of 2010 Aviiq unveiled a sweet new laptop stand that was really thin and has a very attractive design. The stand was called the Aviiq Portable Laptop stand. Aviiq has unveiled a new line of portable accessories for the iPad and for notebook computers at CeBIT 2011. The line includes a new version of that laptop stand from last year with new colors. ASUS has quietly confirmed that the Eee Pad MeMO launched at CES 2011 back in January will indeed debut running Android 3.0 Honeycomb; jkkmobile spotted the news on the MeMO's full spec list, confirming a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 processor, microHDMI port and quadband HSPA+ connectivity. Fujitsu 22-inch Wireless Displays cut all the cords

Fujitsu has unveiled what the company is calling the "world's first truly wireless display," using a combination of cable-cutting wireless data and an inductive power system. Set to go on show at CeBIT 2011 this week, and expected to spawn commercial displays "within the next year," the Wireless 22-inch Fujitsu screens use SUPA (Smart Universal Power Access) hotspots built into desks, countertops and office panels. MSI is readying a tablet PC running AMD's dual-core C-50 APU, according to sources in Taipei, with the Windows 7 based slate expected to make its debut at CeBIT 2011 early next month. According to DigiTimes' sources, the MSI WindPad 110W will pair the Brazos processor and integrated Radeon HD 6310 graphics with a 32GB SSD. Hanvon brought its HPad A116 along to CES 2011 last month, and now there's apparently a second version for the European market. The Hanvon HPad A112 has a 7-inch 800 x 600 touchscreen, Android 2.2 Froyo and a 3-megapixel camera on the back, along with optional 3G and GPS. The 10.8mm slate has a magnesium alloy frame and brushed stainless steel shell, and Hanvon has whipped up its own handwriting support in the office app. Read The Full Story
