It's always those darned case manufacturers giving things away.  Latest to scoop Apple to their own announcement is Cygnett, who have thrown up product pages for both iPod touch G3 and iPod nano G5 models; the same models we're expecting Apple to unveil later today.  The iPod touch G3 case has a cut-out for the rumored camera, while the iPod nano G5 images show a much-elongated display. Further evidence of the upcoming iPod touch and iPod nano camera refresh is spilling uncontrollably out of China, with multiple different cases being hawked with the new PMPs dimensions and capabilities.  Cult of Mac have been collating the various silicon and hard-plastic cases and sleeves, each of which show a centrally-positioned camera for the iPod touch 3G and a lower left-hand camera for the iPod nano 5G. Apple “massive” iPod camera order tipped; new 5G nano case emerges

Apple have reportedly ordered a "massive number" of camera modules, similar to those found in the iPhone, which will likely find their way into the iPod touch and nano.  According to TechCrunch's sources in Asia, the size of the order - each camera costs roughly $10 - suggests that not only will the iPod touch get photography abilities (as suggested by the iPod touch 3G case on Friday) but that in fact every model bar the iPod shuffle will include one. Dubious doesn't even begin to cover it, but a listing for a silicone skin case for the "iPod touch 3G" has shown up on online store Uxsight.
