Thermaltake’s Level 10 PC case is half monolith to computing excess and half work of art, and we’ve been hoping the company would greenlight a production run since we first spotted it.  Happily that’s now happening, and if you’d like to see what $700 of chassis looks like then MaximumPC have the unboxing for you.

It’s always those darned case manufacturers giving things away.  Latest to scoop Apple to their own announcement is Cygnett, who have thrown up product pages for both iPod touch G3 and iPod nano G5 models; the same models we’re expecting Apple to unveil later today.  The iPod touch G3 case has a cut-out for the rumored camera, while the iPod nano G5 images show a much-elongated display.

We’re seldom impressed with LED flashes on cellphones, but it’s arguably better to have one and use it sparingly than not have one at all.  That’s why we can understand Ryan’s frustrating with his iPhone 3G: he decided to mod his Mophie Juice Pack to add an LED flash

Apple have reportedly ordered a “massive number” of camera modules, similar to those found in the iPhone, which will likely find their way into the iPod touch and nano.  According to TechCrunch’s sources in Asia, the size of the order – each camera costs roughly $10 – suggests that not only will the iPod touch get photography abilities (as suggested by the iPod touch 3G case on Friday) but that in fact every model bar the iPod shuffle will include one.

Reminding us of Thermaltake’s monster Level 10 PC case, this is actually the Edelweiss PC, the handiwork of Pius Geiger and in fact initially constructed all the way back in 2006.  Updated this year with a crisp new white color-scheme, the water-cooled Edelweiss separates out drives, graphics and power-supply, and then illuminates them with a discrete but effective lighting system.

Called the Beta, this steel case is meant for mid-towers and is most definitely meant for serious gamers that want a great quality and great-looking case without giving up other important features.

The Beta is all black inside and super easy to expand. It has room enough for 4 5.25-inch drives, 10.5-inch graphics cards and even 5 hard drive racks. could you imagine the beast of a computer you could make with that sort of freedom?

Expanded cooling is included with 4 120-mm fans working to keep both the processor and the video cards nice and cool. Screwless installation makes this one super easy to set up or change up. You will be able to get the Beta, an economical yet effective case, starting this month for $49.99.
