There's been an abnormal amount of clues this season leading up to the idea that several new devices are coming from Apple, the iPad mini being one of the most-denied yet most-seen. What you're about to witness here is a set of iPad mini cases, each of them appearing to come from Devicewear, a company that we're pretty sure won't be invited back to the Apple party any time soon should these renders be proven real. What they show is the iPad mini - or whatever it'll end up being called in the end - complete with volume buttons, a back-facing camera and microphone, and the lovely new miniature dock connector for all to see.

Nexus 7 gets smart covers for magnetic display sleep
One of the least-known features of the Google Nexus 7 tablet is its ability to work with a magnetic cover that'll shut its display off like a snap. This sort of feature exists in your laptop, you've got a similar situation in your iPad 2 and 3, and the technology has existed in many BlackBerry devices for some time now as well. Now the folks at MobileFun UK are showing off some brand new SD TabletWear cases with the Nexus 7 to show how you'll be utilizing the feature here on Google's first Nexus line tablet ever.

New iPhone cases bet on a non-iPod port
This week over in the land of pre-release device accessory makers, a couple new iPhone (or iPhone 5, whatever you want to call it) cases have been revealed with the smartphone's new form factor intact. This case, coming in two colors - simple black and white - shows the iPhone in a taller form with many of the same features as the iPhone 4/4S. This device has a back-facing camera hole with enough room for a flash bulb, a lock-screen switch hole above volume buttons, and the same width as in previous models.
