G-Form Extreme Portfolio for iPad 2 Review

G-Form Extreme Portfolio for iPad 2 Review

The portfolio case you're about to see is so hardcore that it can carry essentially any 10-inch tablet from here to outer space and plummet back to the ground with the tablet unharmed. This case is the baddest mother to have come out on the case circuit since the launch of the original iPad, having so much padding that you'll struggle to find a way to do the protection justice. This is the G-Form Extreme Portfolio, and if you put your iPad in it, start a movie up, toss it out of your car off of a bridge onto a rocky ground below, you'll also be able to find it easily because it's BRIGHT yellow - and it won't have been damaged either - your movie will still be rolling.

G-Form X Protect iPhone 4/4S case revealed, survives 82 mph slapshot

G-Form X Protect iPhone 4/4S case revealed, survives 82 mph slapshot

The folks at G-Form have brought the fury once more with a brand new case for Apple devices, this time not protecting the iPad, but the iPhone 4/4S instead, and their first death-defying test is in the hockey arena. The test you're about to see shows off the power of protection in the G-Form X Protect case as a hockey superstar takes a nice couple of cracks at it with his stick. iPad 2S up next, iPad 3 pushed back

iPad 2S up next, iPad 3 pushed back

When it comes to Apple, there's only one thing you can guess on releases: you never ever quite know what you're going to get or what it'll be called - thats why when the name iPad 2S popped up on the airwaves this afternoon, the wheels in our minds started spinning furiously. This is not the first time we've seen the "S" naming scheme appear on an Apple product, nor will it be the last time, but here it certainly does appear to be the first iPad to attain the partial step between full refreshes in models. It's a Chinese case maker by the name of Chinee that appears to have spilled the beans here, showing off a case that looks not unlike one that would fit fine on an iPad 2, but with an additional letter that's oh-so-telling in the title.
