Though Capcom has not gone out and suggested that they should be bought out by a larger company, this week they’ve voted to end a measure that would stop a "takeover" from happening. With the release of the third installment of the Dead Rising series we were told we'd see a whole new door opened for not only the series, but the zombie-crunching genre as well. Seeing the game in all the biggest Xbox One advertisements was no small deterrent to the idea that this would be one of the games to watch with the launch of the console, and once we got down to business, it was almost instantly proven. Dead Rising 3 is easily one of the finest games on the Xbox One today.

With the newest update to the game Street Fighter IV, you're going to see five new characters, four of which have been revealed this afternoon. While the creators of Tekken aim to add a fighting salmon to the arena, four of the five new characters coming to Street Fighter IV have been revealed to be fan favorites. While we're not expecting a handheld seafaring creature to be attacking our heroes in this season's upgrade, the creators of this game have promised an addition "never seen in street fighter before."

Namco Bandai confirms Project X Zone release date for North America

Namco Bandai has confirmed that Project X Zone, its strategy RPG-game featuring over 50 characters from Namco Bandai, SEGA, and Capcom's games, will be making its way to North American and PAL regions over the summer. The official release date for North America is set for June 25th, 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS. European countries, however, are looking at a vague "Summer 2013" release date.
