Street Fighter V intros new character, IAP business model

Street Fighter V is definitely shaking up things. More than just the new Variable system or Ken's fiery new look, the game is changing the way the game itself is sold and delivered. Doing away with all Editions that has become the butt of many jokes, Capcom will sell one and only one Street Fighter V, and that is all that you'll ever need. Everything else will be delivered like software updates, either completely for free, like fixes and balancing patches, or "earnable", like DLCs.

Capcom removes Ultra Street Fighter 4 from tournament, blames Sony for bugs

Following the recent news that the release of Ultra Street Fighter IV for the PlayStation 4 has a large number of bugs and glitches, the game's developer Capcom has said that it will be pulled from the official Street Fighter tournaments, taking place this summer. Among the problems with USF4 reported, including audio issues and animation problems, the most damaging has been input lag, or delays between button presses and in-game movements/actions. As Street Fighter is built on some of the most precise timing mechanisms, lag of this sort would be devastating during a tournament.

Ultra Street Fighter IV has a problematic PS4 launch

These days, games developers seem to have two options: delay a games release date until bugs have finally been fixed, or rush ahead with the release of a glitchy game. In Street Fighter, the timing of complex button-thrashing attacks can make the difference between landing a special attack and getting dropkicked to the curb. Ultra Street Fighter IV (USF4) has just been released for PS4, but fans are experiencing bugs ranging from display lag, to smeared visuals.
