Become Mega Man with these limited edition headphones

Become Mega Man with these limited edition headphones

Ever since I played the first Mega Man game back on the NES, I was hooked. It was a pretty big change from jumping on goombas and hopping over pits. And it had a vastly different feel from shooting games like Contra. While I'll never have the powers of the Blue Bomber, I might be able to look the part, thanks to a new pair of headphones.

Mega Man movie in the works from Fox and Capcom

It looks like The Blue Bomber himself is gearing up to hit the big screen. It's been revealed that game developer Capcom is working with 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment to develop a Mega Man movie. While gamers should long know by now to be cautiously optimistic at best when it comes to video games being adapted into movies, the fact that the owners of the Mega Man franchise are involved could be interpreted as a positive sign.

Street Fighter V intros new character, IAP business model

Street Fighter V is definitely shaking up things. More than just the new Variable system or Ken's fiery new look, the game is changing the way the game itself is sold and delivered. Doing away with all Editions that has become the butt of many jokes, Capcom will sell one and only one Street Fighter V, and that is all that you'll ever need. Everything else will be delivered like software updates, either completely for free, like fixes and balancing patches, or "earnable", like DLCs.

Capcom removes Ultra Street Fighter 4 from tournament, blames Sony for bugs

Following the recent news that the release of Ultra Street Fighter IV for the PlayStation 4 has a large number of bugs and glitches, the game's developer Capcom has said that it will be pulled from the official Street Fighter tournaments, taking place this summer. Among the problems with USF4 reported, including audio issues and animation problems, the most damaging has been input lag, or delays between button presses and in-game movements/actions. As Street Fighter is built on some of the most precise timing mechanisms, lag of this sort would be devastating during a tournament.

Ultra Street Fighter IV has a problematic PS4 launch

These days, games developers seem to have two options: delay a games release date until bugs have finally been fixed, or rush ahead with the release of a glitchy game. In Street Fighter, the timing of complex button-thrashing attacks can make the difference between landing a special attack and getting dropkicked to the curb. Ultra Street Fighter IV (USF4) has just been released for PS4, but fans are experiencing bugs ranging from display lag, to smeared visuals.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 for PC gets official local co-op

If you're a Resident Evil fan, you might have been swept up in that hoopla surrounding the disingenuous implications that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 for PC offered offline co-op, then the follow up quiet correction made later on that no, sorry, there's not actually going to be a local co-op for PC. While gamers' hopes were low, a wonderful modder decided to make that local co-op mode himself, and apparently in light of that and the upset cries from gamers, an official local co-op has been promised...again. Only for real this time.
