While Canon's digital cameras are not exactly as esoteric as refrigerators and washing machines, getting Linux to run on these more often than not very closed devices can open up a world of possibilities.

Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM ultra wide-angle zoom lens official

The Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM ultra wide-angle zoom lens is an amalgamation of glass and metal that's made to capture super high quality images with an ultra-wide angle. This lens was of the most awe-inspiring pieces of equipment we got to have a peek at earlier this year at CES but it wasn't something we were able to talk about until now. Everyone in the room that had the opportunity to see this lens had an audible response - and several were words I can't reproduce here. This lens creates an experience that's not easily describable, needless to say.
