Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM ultra wide-angle zoom lens official

The Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM ultra wide-angle zoom lens is an amalgamation of glass and metal that's made to capture super high quality images with an ultra-wide angle. This lens was of the most awe-inspiring pieces of equipment we got to have a peek at earlier this year at CES but it wasn't something we were able to talk about until now. Everyone in the room that had the opportunity to see this lens had an audible response - and several were words I can't reproduce here. This lens creates an experience that's not easily describable, needless to say.

This week the folks at Canon have revealed details on the PowerShot G3 X officially. Not in full, that is to say, and not in a way that's similar to that of the announcements they've made of other cameras this week. Instead, the follow-up to the PowerShot G1 X Mark II and the compact-body PowerShot G7 X, the Canon PowerShot G3 X will work with a 1-inch sensor, a 24–600mm (35mm film equivalent) 25x optical zoom lens, and a compact overall size. Last week we encountered details of Canon's upcoming high-end EOS 5DS and its low-pass filter free 5DS R variant and mentioned rumors of an upcoming M3 camera as well. This time, we're seeing for the first time some leaked photos of the digital camera, revealing a few interesting new details. Sadly, there aren't enough details yet to form a more complete picture, figuratively speaking, of the camera, though the leaked information is probably enough to get camera fans a bit excited for what yet to come.

Canon EOS 5DS leaked with whopping 50MP sensor

It's been a while since we've last heard from Canon's EOS 5D line, but it seems that the camera maker will be bringing it back with a very big bang. Specs of what is supposedly the the EOS 5DS and 5DS R have been leaked and they show some of the best of the best in digital cameras, which may make it sound too good to be true. But if they do come true, we might be looking at a pair of cameras that have very high sensors and the latest image processors.
