The new stylish SD 1100 IS from Canon has an eight megapixels 1/2.5” Type CCD sensor with sensitivity ranges from ISO 100-1600. It features 2.5” LCD display, Canon’s proprietary DIGIC III imaging processor, 3x optical zoom range of 38mm-114mm (35mm equiv.) with a good old canon’s optical Image Stabilization.

Last Month Canon admitted the world’s fastest 10mp D-SLR has AF-issue with a sub mirror fix and addressed a service repair call for units with series number starts at 501001 to 546561.
