Canon pre-announces 5D Mark II Firmware 2.0.3, 24p coming this month

No more lengthy retiming your 5D Mark II video footages to 24P, the long awaited 5D Mark II’s firmware to enable motion capture in 24fps will arrive soon this month. Canon has informed us the upcoming firmware 2.0.3 will meet the demands of filmmakers, cinematographers, and movies enthusiasts by adding the Full HD 1080 in 24 fps-recording capability and changing 30P video frame rate to 29.97. Canon 1Ds Mark IV coming next week, equipped with 32MP sensor?

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS, SD3500 IS, SD1400 IS and SD1300 IS digicams drop

Canon's other new cameras of the morning aren't quite as interesting as the Rebel T2i, but the four fresh PowerShot models are better suited to entry-level point and shoot users.  Top of the range is the Canon PowerShot SX210 IS, a 14.1-megapixel shooter with 14x optical zoom, 28mm wide-angle lens and optical image stabilization, as well as a 3-inch LCD display and Eye-Fi compatibility, which will arrive in late March 2010 for $349.99. Canon Rebel T2i DSLR gets official

Canon have outed their latest digital camera, the Canon Rebel T2i DSLR, the new flagship of their Rebel range.  An 18.7-megapixel CMOS shooter with Full HD 1080p 30fps video capture, the Rebel T2i supports ISO ranges from 100 to 6400 and has a 63-zone Dual Layer Metering System together with Canon's DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor. Anticipation for Canon’s EOS 7D was high, any way you look at it. SlashGear Week in Review – Week 43 2009

Weeks are flying by and it's time for another week in review. Monday we learned that a new hack was available from the iPhone Dev Team that adds MMS to first generation iPhones and tethering to 3.1.2 OS for the later iPhone models. We also found out that Microsoft is set to issue a new update for the Xbox 360 that will break unauthorized storage devices. Canon EOS-1D Mark IV DSLR totes 16MP, 1080p video & crazy ISO range

Canon's latest DSLR, the EOS-1D Mark IV, has emerged, and it's got the Nikon D3S firmly in its sights.  The EOS-1D Mark IV packs a 16-megapixel sensor, 45-point autofocus system, 10fps continuous shooting and 1080p Full HD video recording, together with not one but two of the company's DIGIC 4 imaging processors.  Like Nikon, too, Canon are waxing about their ISO range: the Mark IV boasts up to 102,400 ISO, though it's more usually found playing in the 100 to 12,800 bracket. Projectors are great for all sorts of things from watching your favorite team in massive screen sizes to playing video games and giving presentations. SanDisk got all official and stuff with a new low-end MP3 player called the Sansa Clip+. The thing gains a microSD card slot to accommodate that big bag of fail known as slotMusic.
