Uwe Boll attempts to acquire rights to create a World of Warcraft movie

, Apr 22nd 2008 Discuss [4]

I have always enjoyed gaming movies, I am one that is extremely easy to please when it comes to them too. I even enjoyed the latest Resident Evil that Scott here at Slashgear will start ranting about if you ever bring it up. Now, that being said, I never ever want to see the likes of Uwe Boll snagging the rights to create a World of Warcraft movie, frankly I think I'd go on a gaming strike. Thankfully Blizzard is smart enough to recognize Uwe Boll's lack of talent and turn him down flat. Read The Full Story

Enter Blizzard’s WoW PVP contest for your shot at $75,000

It's been a while since I logged into World of Warcraft. Some would say it's been too long, while others tend to think I haven't been away long enough. I tend to agree with the latter. It's not that it's a bad game or anything, it just has a tendency to suck the soul out of any living being that enters the realm of Azeroth. For those of you that cannot escape its clutches, I do have some good news. Blizzard has announced a PVP contest with a $75,000 booty. Read The Full Story

New trademark hints at WoW on your mobile phone

I've been addicted to WoW for some time now. However, much to the displeasure of my fellow guild mates, I've managed to stay away from it for the last few months. For those that still haven't kicked the addiction, how would you like to play on your cell phone? Read The Full Story

World of Warcraft Mana potion will help you keep going when all other bodily functions have shut down

For seven dollars, plus shipping and handling (although I’m sure Hot Topic or Spencers will have it sooner or later) you get two mana potions. Each one is 40mL of caffeine saturated goodness. Read The Full Story

Live Gamer is a publisher sponsored eBay for in-game items from MMO’s

Regardless, publishers have almost always been against such practices, partly because it undermines their control of the environment, partly because it usually doesn’t work out in favor of the purchaser. Figureprints recreates your WoW character

, Dec 12th 2007 Discuss [0]

Those that have been sucked into World of Warcraft tend to take great pride in their characters. Sadly once we log off for the day, we have no way to admire our favorite one. I know I tend to go through withdrawals from my elf priest, if I had a statue of her to get me through those dark times outside of WoW I might be able to hold off a little longer. Crazed gamer buys World of Warcraft character for nearly $10,000

I've been playing World of Warcraft for close to a year now off and on. I've heard of people selling and purchasing items, gold and even characters for real money. Personally, I think they are crazy. It's just a game. Some people must be pretty desperate to make themselves feel good. One guy even paid close to $10,000 for a character. Read The Full Story

Wrath of the Lich King official website up with new info

While I've curbed by World of Warcraft addiction, I'm worried that I'll soon start getting back into the game. Surprisingly it has little to do with the recent announcement of the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion. No, my friends and fellow guild members have been bugging me pretty heavily lately, so you may see me lurking about the Silvermoon server once again. Read The Full Story
