News about Blizzard's StarCraft II isn't necessarily few and far between, but when you start talking about something as epic as StarCraft, and its heavily anticipated sequel, every piece of information is fantastic. And, if it weren't enough for Blizzard to just give us text-based information, they go out and make amazing CG videos, like the cinematic trailer already released. Razer developing StarCraft II themed gaming peripherals

You know who likes money?  Razer likes money, and the gaming peripheral maker has decided that the best way to make it is to milk enthusiastic StarCraft II gamers with a range of new hardware and this "distinctive" messenger bag.  As well as the bag, the company promises a tournament-grade keyboard, mouse and headset "specially designed" for Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft II. First of many Starcraft 2 Battle Reports get released

Blizzard has released the first of what is to be a series of Starcraft 2 battle reports. This video is a match from the alpha version of the game - narrated by lead designer Dustin Browder and e-Sports team member Robert Simpson - in which Matt Cooper and David Kim play a 1-on-1 match as Protoss and Terrran. Blizzard updates WoW Armory

Blizzard continues to roll out upgrades across the board ever since the Wrath of the Lich King expansion came out. In fact, the World of Warcraft Armory page was updated today, and it now features stats and information previously unavailable prior to the 3.02 patch. Read The Full Story

World of Warcraft patch ‘Echoes of Doom’ goes live; rocky restart

So the 3.0.2 patch for the World of Warcraft was released by Blizzard yesterday. The patch, called "Echoes of Doom," features all sorts of updates and is furthering along the servers to get ready for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, which is set for release on November 13th. Diablo 3 coming to consoles?

Blizzard president, Mike Morhaime may have just stoked the fire about their upcoming game, Diablo 3. While it was expected this game would only appear on PCs, we're now hearing buzz it might be released on consoles as well. Recently at BlizzCon, Morhaime spoke about the game and how each game at Blizzard includes a discussion of appropriate platforms. He said, "As Diablo 3 takes shape, I think we'll do an evaluation. I think there is a pretty good argument to be made that that type of game might work very well on consoles. There might be some technical limitations though that we might need to get past." Details on the WoW Achievement system

Blizzard's new Achievement system has a great many of us curious as to how it will work and if we'll see it as either an improvement or just a nuisance. Thus far we know only a few details about the upcoming Achievements and how they will work. Jeffrey Kaplan decided to give a few more details about the Achievement points.  As always, Blizzard is trying to take the Achievements and improve the way they are done in comparison to existing ones like the Xbox version.  One thing they are doing differently is you will be able to track your progression on a particular Achievement. Wrath of the Lich King confirmed for Q4 2008

Blizzard is one of those companies that has a very firm policy on releasing new products. Namely, they release them “when it's done”, rather than setting a release date many months in advance.
