This time around, a slew of parts from the BlackBerry Z10 handset have surfaced, including the LCD, touchscreen digitizer, and housings, all of which point to a 4.3-inch display.

BlackBerry Z10 leaks for Verizon and AT&T
A photo has been leaked today of the next-generation RIM-made BlackBerry 10 device by the name of BlackBerry Z10, a machine that's set to run an all-touch version of the mobile software coming out later this month. These handsets are said by the source to be in testing mode and that one is being carried by Verizon (scope the branding in the upper left) and the other is being carried by AT&T.

New RIM patent filing puts “spy cam” pictures in its crosshairs
There are a lot of leaks in the tech and gadget worlds, and many of these leaks center around blurry images of upcoming products that were snapped quickly to avoid being caught. RIM is looking to prevent these "spy cam" shots with a new patent it has on file with the USPTO. This patent is for technology that prevents a smartphone camera from snapping a picture unless the phone has been held still for a predetermined amount of time.

Mysterious BlackBerry 10 device arrives at FCC
Those who have been following the development of BlackBerry 10 might like to know that a new device has arrived at the FCC. Its model number is RFH121LW, but other than that, we don't know much about this phone. The documents that accompany the filing are merely an exposure report and its appendices, along with some letters and a test report. This means we don't get any images and hardly any idea of the phone's specifications.

In the lead up to BlackBerry 10's January release, there have been plenty of leaks for us to get excited about. Anticipation has been running high, and we've seen more than a few quick shots of what's rumored to be the BlackBerry Z10 handset. Welcome to Wednesday evening everyone! We're back from a brief holiday break and there was plenty of news waiting for us when we returned, so let's jump into the Wrap-Up. Mark Zuckerberg's sister Randi found herself with a semi-private photo being shared publicly today, which brought up some debate about Facebook's privacy policy. Samsung is expected to ship 500 million smartphones in 2013, while we saw a leaked image of a white BlackBerry X10 handset with a QWERTY keyboard. Instagram is facing a class action lawsuit over the controversial changes to its Terms of Service, despite the fact that it has tried to ease users' minds since the new Terms were announced.

BlackBerry X10 QWERTY touch smartphone leaked in single white-case photo
There appears to be a whole new double-down in the BlackBerry 10 universe this week with a leaked image of what's being called the BlackBerry X10. This device sits in a photo near the BlackBerry Z10 all-touch smartphone as well as the BlackBerry Dev Alpha C smartphone given to 1,500 developers earlier this year. This photo is fairly clear, but of course completely unofficial and unconfirmed by RIM.

Depending on who you choose to believe, today was the day it was all supposed to come crashing down, but since that doesn't seem like it'll be happening, let's recap the news from the day and then jump into the weekend, shall we? Today was a historic day aside from being the rumored end of the world, as Psy's ridiculously popular hit Gangnam Style topped 1 billion views on YouTube, officially becoming the first video to do so and beating Justin Bieber to the punch. We had a new Acer-related leak today, with benchmarks for the rumored V350 flagship phone surfacing, as well as images for the ASUS ME172V tablet.

BlackBerry 10 jumps the shark with tiered service fees
Those of you out there with a BlackBerry device know better than anyone that the platform carries with it not just support from the carrier, but from teams of restless developers and software heroes working with RIM, as well. This week at their third-quarter 2012 earnings call the heads at RIM released information on how BlackBerry 10 will deal with the Service Fees that are associated with RIM offering support to users all along their contracts with carriers – and the news is not being received well.
