As we suspected when the original iPad was pulled from Best Buy's inventory on Tuesday, the iPad 2 (and its nifty cover) will be available in the store on Friday, March 11. One would suspect then, that Best Buy will begin selling the iPad 2 at 5pm on March 11, just like at Apple Stores. The graphic below is what is shown on Best Buy's website.

First Gen iPad Pulled from Best Buy Inventory

In further evidence that an iPad 2 launch is imminent, Best Buy has deleted the first generation iPad from its inventory. Best Buy's inventory status is not always a good indicator of product launches, but combined with the news yesterday that Apple had cut off iPad supply in preparation for an iPad 2 announcement, this seems to be yet another indication that the iPad 2 will be announced at Apple's event tomorrow.

Best Buy has announced that it is taking pre-orders right now on the cool Samson USB studio microphones called the Meteor. During the Super Bowl, Best Buy featured a commercial with teen pop sensation, Justin Bieber, and heavy metal legend, Ozzy Osborne, to launch their new “Buy Back” program. The program is pretty much what it sounds like--Best Buy stores will buy back products from their customers. The catch is that there's a cost to it almost like when you pay extra for that 3-year warranty. However, the program is free right now but will cost you after February 12th and the amount depends on the type of device.
