Vertu outs Signature for Bentley feature phone

Vertu outs Signature for Bentley feature phone

Vertu is at it again, producing a mobile device for the elite few that can afford it. This time, however, it is doing things a bit differently. For one, it has again partnered with Bentley to design a phone that matches one of the latter's automobile lines. Second, unlike most of its phones, this isn't so smart. The Signature for Bentley, though classy and luxurious in its design and materials, is pretty much a basic mobile phone, with a focus on voice calls and audio in terms of functionality.

Bentley Bentayga SUV spied testing on Nurburgring

Bentley has been making some of the most luxurious and expensive vehicles in the world since the company was formed. Often these land yachts have massive engines that give the big luxury cars decent straight line performance, but this side of a Bentley racecar the vehicles were never meant to handle like a racer. They are designed for comfort and style.

Bentley Bentayga render hints at still large but chrome-laden SUV

Nearly 3 years since the EXP 9 F SUV concept was first shown to the public, Bentley is getting close to making it a reality. Now known as the Bentayga, the company's first ever SUV, is slated to be shown off at the Frankfurt auto show in September. But while waiting for four months for that to happen, Car and Driver has produced renders on what it thinks the Bentley Bentayga might look and feel like. And it seems it might not be to everyone's tastes.

Bentley Mulsanne Speed ‘Blue Train’ limited edition unveiled

Bentley has introduced a new limited edition model, the Bentley Mulsanne Speed ‘Blue Train’ by Mulliner. Bentley is showing off the car at the Techno-Classica show in Germany, and it will be an incredibly limited edition: only four “examples” of the special model will be hand made in Crewe for eager customers located in the EU. Pricing wasn't revealed.

Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6: Look out world, the Brits are back

Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6: Look out world, the Brits are back

When Bentley makes a concept, it doesn’t do things by halves, and the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 is the best evidence of that we’ve seen in years. Dropping jaws here at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the deep green two-seater isn’t just a design exercise - even though that alone would be enough to have us interested - but, teasingly, the forebear of a new age of styling for the heritage company and potentially even a new line of more performance-focused models to sit alongside the Continental GT grand tourer. And, while you might associate Bentley with old-school luxury, if anything the EXP 10 Speed 6 could be the most technologically forward-looking car at the show.

Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept may go into production

Typically, when you think of a Bentley, what comes to mind is a large and powerful four-seat car that has performance, but is more focused on luxury. Bentley has unveiled a new car at the Geneva motor show that is its interpretation of a two-seat British sports car. It’s still completely Bentley and has many luxury touches on the inside. The new car is called the EXP 10 Speed 6.

Here’s what $400,000 of Bentley gets you

Here’s what $400,000 of Bentley gets you

Nobody quite does luxury and performance like Bentley. The company's legacy of Bentley Boys, flogging their supercharged cars from road race to road race in the 1920s, has been given the knowing nod by special-edition cars from the marque for decades now, but never quite so comprehensively as the 2015 Mulsanne Speed. Taking the flagship spot at the top of Bentley's range, and doing so with no shortage of style, performance, and better-then-first-class accommodation, it's not only powerful but packs a serious degree of tech behind the several hides-worth of leather. I hid my press badge and pretended there was more than just dust in my wallet to find out more at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week.

Maybach who? Bentley brings true opulence to LA

Maybach who? Bentley brings true opulence to LA

Dear Mercedes, Bentley would like to show you what real luxury looks like. The new Mercedes-Maybach may be stunning the LA Auto Show with its interpretation of a private jet for the highway, but just around the corner it was British stalwart Bentley which was demonstrating how opulence is done properly. The brand new Bentley Grand Convertible and recently announced Bentley Mulsanne Speed may espouse the old-school approach of "gentleman's club" luxe, but that's not to say they don't hide their fair share of technology in the process.

Vertu for Bentley: a luxury phone that feels like a luxury car

Barely two weeks after outing the Aster, Vertu is here again with another luxury smartphone for the affluent.. This time, however, it isn't doing it alone. Partnering with fellow British company Bentley, the Vertu for Bentley gives luxury car lovers a fitting mobile device to go with their Bentley car, which they presumably have. But aside from sporting trademark Bentley designs in addition to Vertu's own signature, the smartphone at least does have decent hardware that won't leave owners shortchanged for the price.
