Belkin Thunderbolt Express Dock Review

After over a year of waiting, Belkin has finally released its Thunderbolt Express Dock. It was originally announced last year in January and was slated for a September 2012 release, but that obviously never happened. However, Belkin just launched the $299 dock yesterday, and we’ve taken the time to give it a good look-over and test it out for ourselves. Personally, as a MacBook Pro user who is constantly docking and undocking my laptop at my desk, I wanted to see if Belkin’s Thunderbolt Express Dock would make the whole process easier. It's taken a while - a very long while - but Belkin's Thunderbolt Express Dock has finally hit shelves, offering Mac users a simple way to hook up a workstation's-worth of peripherals by stringing a single cable. First announced back in January 2012, and clearly missing its original release date in September of the same year, the $299.99 Thunderbolt Express Dock offers three USB 3.0 ports, gigabit ethernet, and a pass-through Thunderbolt connector of its own, among other things. Belkin NetCam HD Wi-Fi camera can now spy on you

During CES in January, we spent some hands-on time with a new Wi-Fi camera from Belkin called the NetCam HD Wi-Fi Camera. At the time as close as we had to an official launch date was "spring." Welcome to Thursday evening everyone. Today we heard Samsung might sell as many as 10 million Galaxy S IV handsets after the device launches, which is supposedly happening later this year. We also heard J.J. Abrams might direct the next Star Wars movie, despite the fact that he said he wouldn't in an interview last year. Microsoft delivered its financial report for Q2 2013 today, posting $6.38 billion in profit, while AT&T's own reported showed a net loss of $3.9 billion. Samsung Display said today that it has produced 300 million OLED panels, and ABI Research is predicting that 145 million tablets will be shipped in 2013. Read The Full Story

Belkin gears up to acquire Cisco’s home networking division

Today Belkin announced that it has big acquisition plans for the future, revealing that it has entered into an agreement to purchase Cisco's home networking business. This means that Belkin will be buying the Linksys brand, among other things.
