Averatec N1200 Series netbooks “thinnest, lightest” on the market

Averatec have launched their latest netbook range, the N1200 Series, and according to the press blurb they've created the thinnest, lightest 10.1-incher on the market today.  At less than an inch thick and weighing under 2.2lbs it's certainly on the skinny size, though inside you're dealing with the same 1.66GHz Atom N450 processor and GMA 3150 graphics as any other netbook. Averatec D1133 puts AMD Athlon 3250e 1.5Ghz CPU into 18.4-inch all-in-one

TriGem have updated their Averatec D1100-series 18.4-inch desktop all-in-one, by dropping in AMD's 1.5GHz Athlon X2 3250e low-voltage processor.  Sitting alongside the existing Intel Atom N270 machines in the D1100-series, the AMD-based Averatec D1133AH1E-1 has 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard-drive. Averatec N3400 ultraportable: 13.3-inch CULV notebook

TriGem have announced another new model in their Averatec line of home computers, in the shape of the N3400 ultraportable.  While it may resemble a netbook, in fact the aluminum-clad notebook packs a dual-core Pentium T3400 2.16GHz processor, 3GB of RAM (8GB supported) and a 250GB hard-drive, together with a 13.3-inch display. Averatec D1005 2.5GHz all-in-one PC

Averatec have announced a new all-in-one PC, the D1005, which couples a 22-inch widescreen LCD with an Intel Core 2 Duo E5200 2.5GHz processor and 3GB of RAM.  The Averatec D1005 is a step up from the company's usual nettop-style desktops, with a 320GB hard-drive and a slot-loading DVD burner. Averatec D1200 1080p All-in-One PC

Averatec have announced another all-in-one PC, this time a 25.5-inch model with a full 1080p High-Definition display.  The Averatec D1200 is, according to the company, the largest all-in-one available for under $1k, and comes with a standard hybrid TV tuner, 2.5GHz Intel Pentium dual-core E5200 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard-drive. Upcoming Averatec 10-inch netbook may use Android

Averatec are developing a new netbook that is "a merger of cellphone and PC technology", prompting speculation that the company will use Android as the budget ultraportable's OS.  Company CEO Tae-Hyun "Tiger" Cho has described the OS as "a surprise" and would neither confirm nor deny the Android rumors; the Averatec netbook will reach the market in August or September 2009. Averatec 18.4 and 22-inch All-In-One PCs announced, priced

Averatec have announced pricing and specifications for their 18.4-inch and 22-inch All-In-One desktop PCs.  The 18.4-inch model, shown here, has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM (2GB maximum), a 2.5-inch 160GB 5,400rpm HDD and DVD burner.  There's also five USB 2.0 ports, ethernet, WiFi b/g, a VGA output and integrated 1.3-megapixel webcam, plus an optional wireless keyboard. Averatec Buddy netbook in the wild; 3DMark benchmarked

The Averatec Buddy netbook officially launched in the US last week, but we're only now seeing the first live shots come through.  AVING were on hand to take the 10.2-inch budget ultraportable on a whirlwind tour of what looks to be a park and a library, though it's not certain what the netbook's 1.6GHz Atom processor and 1GB of RAM thought of the adventure. Averatec 18.4-inch All-in-One desktop PC is Atom-based

Averatec certainly is in the news today. We reported just awhile ago that the company had made their Buddy netbook available today and now the Averatec 18.4-inch All-in-One Desktop PC has launched in the US and guess what? It's Atom-based. The desktop PC was first announced in the Europe last month, but now it's getting its US debut. It features specs that are netbook-comparable. For instance, it features a 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM and a 1.6GHz N270 Atom processor. Windows XP is also included. Read The Full Story
