So you know those new 500GB laptop hard drives we showed you earlier today, the ones from Hitachi? Well ASUS was lucky enough to get in on Hitachi’s good graces and the two have cranked out a laptop with a 2-drive configuration that totals a terabyte of storage, on the go.
This rumor comes from two different sources; the 4G wireless part is apparently from a preview site from Asus themselves and suggests that a new version of the Eee will have WiMAX. The other part comes from some sources that tipped off a Taiwanese paper that Asus was already manufacturing Eee’s with 8.9-inch screens instead [...]
There’s nothing quite like having accessories. We buy them even if we don’t need them simple because we can and they match/go with the things we already have. The only thing better then having accessories is having “official” accessories.
Asus has released a line of accessories just for the Eee PC. There [...]
I just got a new laptop and it’s bigger than anything I’ve had before and so none of my cases/sleeves/bags fit it, it’s very annoying. I’m highly jealous of people with the Eee PC who can now purchase a custom fit leather case for their laptop, made by Handetta.
It looks a lot like the LG enV or the Nokia E90, but its nothing like either of those. It flips open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, a D-Pad, and a larger screen than the external one.

So Asus only expected to sell at most 300,000 of these things, they’ve already sold over 350k of the little buggers. If they could have made them as fast as people were buying them, they probably could have sold a few tens of thousands more.
Right now Asus is hot. I don’t go through a day without seeing or hearing something about/by them. Like anything, when you’re doing well you don’t stop.
I really like ASUS Eee PC – It’s portability, price and easy to use are its greatest selling point. Now, the cheapest version of Eee PC is available; I found Asus Eee PC 2G Surf for $299.99 at NewEgg.com.
These notebooks combine high fashion, rock hard security, and high portability to make for the perfect laptop for the traveling business person who knows fashion. On the top they utilize a similar piano white or piano black finish as the ASUS Eee, but shinier.
