ASUS’ Computex 2012 range may have err’d on the odd side so far, but the new Zenbook Prime UX21A Touch is an ultrabook with far more mass-market appeal despite delivering finger-friendly Windows 8. Taking the original Zenbook Prime from earlier this year, and slotting in a capacitive touchscreen on top of the Full HD display, it eschews crazy hinges and odd form-factors for a more straightforward boost in functionality.

In addition to the larger Transformer Books, spanning up to 14-inches in size, the company has unveiled an absolutely bonkers all-in-one PC solution, featuring an 18.4-inch screen that can detach from the PC base and run Android as well as Windows 8. ASUS unveiled the certainly crazy TAICHI dual-screen laptop at Computex, running Windows 8 and featuring either dual 13.3-inch screens or dual 11.6-inch screens. Whichever size you pick, you’ll get Super IPS+ 1080p panels, a full keyboard, trackpad, and an Ivy Bridge processor. Asus unveils new RT-AC66U 802.11ac Wi-Fi router

Asus has unveiled a new next-generation Wi-Fi router called the RT-AC66U. The new Wi-Fi router supports 802.11ac 5G protocols offering wireless speeds of up to 1.75 Gbps. ASUS Transformer AiO is 18.4-inch docking Win8/Android tablet

ASUS’ Computex 2012 line-up isn’t all notebooks and tablets: there’s also the ASUS Transformer AiO, a dual-booting Android and Windows 8 all-in-one desktop. A vast, dockable 18.4-inch touchscreen – considerably larger than the maximum 14-inches of the Transformer Book line – the Transformer AiO has a removable screen section that can drop into a base station for desk use.
