Welcome to Thursday folks, just one more work day before arriving at the weekend. Today we had next to nothing about the Apple vs. Samsung trial, except for the news that a similar South Korean trial has been frozen for fear of it becoming too similar to the one being held here in the US. The lack of Apple vs. Samsung news leaves room for far more interesting things, however, like space! The Curiosity rover sent back a color panoramic shot of the surface of Mars along with its first full resolution image, and it's a pretty awesome sight. Sadly, it wasn't all exciting news for NASA today, as the Morpheus moon lander failed during a flight test and exploded into flames. Luckily no one was hurt, but this is still a pretty big setback for the folks at NASA. Read The Full Story

Transformer Pad TF300TL LTE tablet revealed with Tegra 3

It appears that the quad-core ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TL tablet will be hitting Germany and Austria later this month, complete with support for 4G LTE. German site TechFokus reports that a press release gives the TF300TL a middle of August release for both countries, so it won't be much longer before it launches in at least some parts of the world. At the moment, it's still unknown when it will arrive in the United States, or any other countries for that matter. Read The Full Story

ASUS Transformer Infinity TF700 hits US mid-July from $499

ASUS has confirmed pricing and availability for its latest dockable Android tablet, the Eee Pad Transformer Infinity TF700, set to sit at the top of the range come July. Announced back at Mobile World Congress, the Infinity TF700 will kick off at $499 for the 32GB model when it drops in the week of July 16, though that won't get you the docking keyboard slice with its integrated battery. We’ve had enough time now with the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 that it’s finally time to put it to the test – a hardware-to-hardware comparison with its predecessor the Transformer Prime. What you’re going to see is that the first-ever tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor as well as the first ever tablet with officially licensed Ice Cream Sandwich is so extremely similar to the TF300 that it’s difficult to tell the two apart. ASUS UK has revealed pricing and availability for the new Transformer Pad TF300, the budget Android tablet officially announced over the weekend. The TF300 - which we reviewed here - runs Ice Cream Sandwich on a Tegra 3 quadcore processor, with from 16GB of memory and a price tag in the UK that kicks off at £399 for a TF300T bundle with the detachable keyboard dock. Jumping right into the ASUS Padfone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and its 1.5 GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, with built-in 4G LTE.
