So this morning I received in my hot little hands a Helio Fin. Its been well covered on SlashGear, and even more so in our forums. If you want the full list of details you can read the full information here.
The new features this Helio has going for it, though, are what you are likely most interested in and thus what I will cover most. First, there is the 3MP camera that is built in, then there is the thin and sexy clamshell form factor; I have borrowed a pink RAZR for comparison. Other than that there’s Helio’s Ultimate Messaging Suite and Ultimate Inbox. The new features on the software side aren’t small in comparison either. First there is Helio On Top or H.O.T., then there is HelioUP making it ever easier to geo-tag and instantly upload photos and videos taken with the Helio Fin. Last but not least there is Garmin Mobile, their new turn-by-turn GPS navigation software.
A Judge ordered the RIAA to pay Debbie Foster, a defendant on a witch-hunt party by the Nazi-like RIAA. Ms. Fosters was awarded $68,685 in attorney fees by the court, however the RIAA has failed to cough up the money to pay her. Ms. Foster is asking the court to enter judgment against RIAA.
It is funny how RIAA is so quick to take someone else money but when its turn to pay up, they went AWOL. I don’t condone piracy, but the witch-hunt by RIAA disgust me.

Remember that story that we ran yesterday on the huge Nokia battery recall? Nokia has made an official statement regarding the story. The recall is for real, but they wanted to clarify one minor detail.
Apparently this is a voluntary recall, not your regular run-of-the-mill recall. I guess I need to read more of the fine print because to me, if some thing is bad and they ask you to return it for a replacement, that's a recall. Here is what the Nokia spokesperson had to say about the matter. "The difference is that a recall is something a company has to do. We did not. We simply felt that in this case, it was the right thing to do.”

I really don’t know how to say this other than to state that technology has come to a point where what’s important is better looking breasts. I mean why else would some Israeli (shouldn’t they be the last ones worried about this) scientists be developing/testing an internal bra?
By internal I don’t mean further integrated into clothing, I mean under-your-skin surgically integrated. Sadly, from this point on in the article, I don’t know where to go other than to the gutter, but I will try and keep it as informational as possible.

There are six glasses, featuring many of the characters from the original Pac-Man. They are Pac-Man (duh), Inky, Blinky, Winky, and Clyde, there is also the Cherries.
They are 1.5 fluid ounces each and look cool as hell, even in their 8-bit glory. What would you do while drinking from these glasses? Play Pong. No, I would recommend you start with Pac-Man, and then maybe, as your faculties leave you, you could downgrade to Pong.

I'm beginning to wonder if Sony has made any batteries in the past few years that don't have the chance of exploding. Toshiba has just announced a recall of around 5,100 Sony-made laptop batteries that affect 10 laptop models.
5 of the laptop models were sold only in Japan, while the others were sold in other parts of the world. The notebooks were made in December of 2005 and sold between January and April of 2006. As of now there have been no reports of injuries related to the batteries, however, they have the potential to cause burns and damage the computers.
