The Antec Skeleton PC case isn’t exactly a shy and retiring design in itself, which is why entrants to the company’s modding competition have had to reach a little further in order to come up with something eye-catching.  Designs range from repaints, through bizarre furry wings, to doubling-up the case like this spaceship-like concept here; there’s also a very convincing All-In-Antec machine.

The Antec Skeleton case almost seems to be a contradiction in terms, as for your money you don’t actually get much casing.  What you do get is a 250mm fan mounted on top of an arched framework, with a slide-out motherboard tray and, underneath, space for your PSU and drives.  Antec are saying it provides “unprecedented airflow”, which I suppose is accurate unless up until now you’ve left your PC components lying around on a window-ledge.

Case manufacturer Antec has taken the wraps off of its latest HTPC case, together with a new range of “Multimedia Station” add-ons to make existing computers more home-entertainment friendly.  The Micro Fusion Remote 350 is compact 4.5 x 15.1 x 16.1-inches and includes an aluminium front panel with IR receiver, remote control and LCD display.  Inside, Antec have separated the motherboard from the included 350W power supply in a dual-chamber design it claims reduces noise, as well as provided silicone grommets for quiet-mounting hardware.
