I admit that I haven’t been a huge follower of the Metal Gear games. They’re great in their respect, just not for me. I have played enough to know that Solid Snake is a bad-ass, and many people are going to be sad to see him go. However, what even many hardcore fans don’t know is that MGS 4 isn’t necessarily the end of the series, just the end of Solid Snake’s story.

There has been a lot of talk about the size limit that has been imposed upon developers for the Xbox Live Arcade.  Developers have been having a hard time conforming to the strict 150MB limit, which isn’t surprising considering the file sizes that we deal with these days. Well, Microsoft has listened to concerns about this, and increased the cap to a whopping 350MB.

Recently it was revealed by Age of Conan director Gaute Godager that it will only take the average player around 250 hours to reach level 80.  This seems to have some people stirred up, as it takes the average WoW player almost double that time to reach level 70. Does it mean that there’s less to Age of Conan? Not necessarily.

I have a word of advice to those with an old 20GB PS3. Upgrade your hard drive. Sure, that’s four words, but you get the point. Why am I imparting this sage-like wisdom upon you? Because it seems to be a trend for developers to demand large portions of your hard drive to play their games. It seems that Haze is no exception.

It’s not all that uncommon to see a CD that has music from or inspired by a particular movie. It is less common, however to see the same thing based on a video game. Then again most video games don’t have killer soundtracks. Of course that can’t be said about Grand Theft Auto IV, which is why Rockstar is announcing an album based on the game.

Last week we brought you some info on the upcoming WoW expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. In my rambling I mentioned my desire for mounts that could carry a passenger. Apparently I was receiving some sort of psychic feed from Blizzard, because it looks like we’ll be getting just that.

No Force Unleashed for the PC

Nintendo launches WiiWare

If you haven’t heard of Nindendo’s WiiWare, it is a new downloadable game delivery service that is launching for the Wii today. WiiWare is a way for developers to develop and destribute smaller games for Nintendo’s popular console. To start things off, they’ve got six games ready to be downloaded. Hit the jump for a listing.

We’re all waiting to hear more news concerning the latest expansion for World of Warcraft. There hasn’t exactly been a plethora of information surrounding Wrath of the Lich King, however, the guys over at GameSpy invaded Blizzard and demanded the scoop. Apparently their demands were met.
