Motorola Triumph Review [Virgin Mobile]

Motorola Triumph Review [Virgin Mobile]

Today I have a sleek Motorola phone you'll want to check out. This is the Motorola Triumph and he learned most of his simple edges and design from the Droid X. In a way that is what we have here, a slimmed down, simplified yet nice version of the Droid X. This is the first Motorola Android phone carried by Virgin Mobile and it aims to be the best too. For a no contract phone this is a pretty solid buy for only $299 considering many phones of this level sold for $499 in recent months.

LG Thrill 4G Hands-On and Unboxing

It may not look like its actually alive and grabbing you like something from Avatar, but it sure gets close. What we have here is the glasses-free 3D powered LG Thrill 4G from AT&T. We have seen this before known as the Optimus 3D and I unboxed that too. What makes this phone special is not only does it have a dual-core CPU but it has dual cameras. It can capture and playback 3D video as well as play 3D games and other things all without those sexy red and blue glasses. Check below for more details.

Motorola Triumph Hands-On and Unboxing

I received a little surprise yesterday from FedEx and it just so happened to be the Motorola Triumph that is headed to Virgin Mobile. The Triumph was first announced back in June, we were live in NYC for some hands-on time. For a little recap this is the Motorola Triumph and it's headed to Virgin Mobile and my favorite part is this triumphant phone won the battle with Blur and will in fact be running stock Android 2.2 FroYo (aka Vanilla) and will look and run as Google intended. I'm excited already!

Samsung Dart Review [T-Mobile]

Samsung Dart Review [T-Mobile]

What I've got here is one of the three newest members to the mid-range line of phones over on T-Mobile. The smallest and sleekest of them all and that is the Samsung Dart. While reading this review you might want to take into consideration this is a mid-range phone at best, it is meant to compete with other offerings like the LG Optimus or even the Motorola Cliq. This phone might just be the perfect phone for your children as a first smartphone.

T-Mobile Samsung Dart Hands-on and Unboxing

Okay guys I have the Samsung Dart here to show you all, amazing I know. This little guy is absolutely what you would call a mid-range Android phone, and saying mid-range is being generous. Lately T-Mobile and Samsung have been pushing some decent little mid-range phones out this summer for all those kids and teenagers that are ready for summer and want a new smartphone for graduation or what not. Most have been pretty decent but this is the lower end of the bunch that is for sure.

Samsung Gravity Smart Hands-On and Unboxing

Samsung Gravity Smart Hands-On and Unboxing

I'm back today with my lucky hands on another mid-rage device from Samsung that will be on T-Mobile. We have the "cute" Samsung Gravity Smart Android Slider for you all to check out today. While the Gravity Smart wont replace the Sidekick it is a nice little phone for those that love to text, or just love hardware keyboards on their phone. It is a sleek design with nicely rounded edges, the build quality is decent but the back cover leaves something to be desired. It's no Galaxy S 4G but then again this device is not the most expensive on T-Mobile either.

Viewsonic ViewBook 730 is a cheap Android tablet

Viewsonic ViewBook 730 is a cheap Android tablet

I think that the biggest problem with most of the Android tablets on the market today is that they cost too much. Many consumers will simply opt for the iPad 2 if the price of the Android tablet is close to the price of the iPad 2 just out of name recognition. What the market needs is some lower priced Android tablets that people looking to step into the tablet world can get cheaply. That is exactly what Viewsonic has offered with the new ViewBook 730 Android tablet.

DROID X2 Review

DROID X2 Review

For a while, Motorola's original DROID X on Verizon led the pack. Offering a big screen, a big camera and a slender chassis, it helped drive the race toward oversized Android handsets that has led us to the Galaxy S II, Infuse 4G and Sensation. Now comes the Motorola DROID X2, boosting screen resolution and throwing in a second processor core, but wrapped up in the same sober suit. Has the company done enough to keep the DROID X2 topical, or is this sequel a flop? Check out the full SlashGear review after the cut.
