This Spring we got the opportunity to work with the Huawei model E176G 3G USB dongle connected to XCom Global for mobile data. This little device comes with a cap for the USB plug, the whole device is small enough to very easily slip into your pocket, and the whole package comes with an extensive manual and instructions that make its implementation relatively easy to set up and ultra-simple to use. I personally used this device during the entirety of Mobile World Congress over in Barcelona, Spain, and have to say: it worked pretty darn nicely.

This dock is made of heavy metal – CNC Machined aluminum, in fact, with precision drilled holes and a weight that’ll keep you grounded. The bulk of this device contains no technology at all, relying instead on a standard Apple iPhone/iPod cord to power your device up – that said, is it worth the cash?

iFrogz Boost NearField Audio speaker Review

, Mar 23rd 2012 Discuss [6]

This little piece of hardware is a fabulous wonder of the modern wireless age – and it doesn’t just work for iPhone, it works for any tiny speaker that wants to be amplified! The iFrogz Boost NearField Audio speaker is a little brick – it weights in at next to nothing, is made mostly of soft, rubbery plastic on the outside, has a few bumpers on the bottom to hold it tight to your table. This device will blast out audio at high levels without any more effort on your part than placing the speaker portion of your smartphone near the power button side of the device. It’s really quite magical – as you’ll see here in a moment.
