This week we’ve got our hands on one of the newest series of iPad covers from the extended iPhone and iPad case series made by Griffin in collaboration with Threadless! This lovely Folio is a now-classic design by Griffin working with the artwork of Jeremy Todd, with the design on the front and back being called “City Canals.” This design was made by Jeremy Todd for Threadless (and Griffin) in Chicago, and as a bit of a bonus you’ve got the option of downloading a perfectly sized wallpaper for your iPad to match – it’s the total package!

Brookstone iConvert Scanner for iPad Review

, Jun 14th 2012 Discuss [2]

When it comes to scanners, there certainly are some much higher quality solutions than Brookstone’s iCovert Scanner – but none of them are as nearly as entertaining. This device works with the iPad, iPad 2, and iPad 3, and is able to scan documents in what’s certainly a small package compared to the bulk of the stay-at-home scanners on the market today. You’ll bust this Brookstone device out, plug it in to the wall, dock your iPad, and start scanning with the free iConvert app – all of your images go directly to your iPad Camera roll at 300 dpi.

Verizon Wireless Jetpack 890L 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot Review

, Jun 14th 2012 Discuss [1]

Compared to the Jetpack MiFi 4620L mobile hotspot we just reviewed at the beginning of May, this 890L 4G LTE model isn’t all that unique. It connects to Verizon‘s 4G LTE network just as well as the 4620, has a similar lovely little display for you to monitor how many people are connected, your connection strength, and software updates – and you’re working with the same data plan costs as well. The 4620L is made by Novatel Wireless while the 890L is made by ZTE – beyond that, what differences are there?

These headphones have just been launched worldwide and will work splendidly with whatever standard headphone-jack-packing device you’ve got on you – and they’ll make you a fashion icon to boot. Marshall Major Pitch Black Headphones Review

, Jun 12th 2012 Discuss [7]

When we were first informed that Marshall would be creating a pair of headphones here in 2012, it seemed too good to be true. One of the most major brands in the amplification of sound, providers of sound for no less than Slayer, greatest creation of Jim Marshall himself, they were going to push that sound right up to our eardrums? Yes, of course that seemed like a good idea. As it turns out, they’ve not only taken their major experience in sound and hammered it down to a pair of fine over-ear headphones, they’ve made them comfortable to wear, too!

Street by 50 in-ear Wired Headphones from SMS Audio Review

, Jun 12th 2012 Discuss [2]

This week we’ve got our hands on the two-toned plastic earbud entry into the Street by 50 lineup for SMS Audio. These little buds are the most mobile-minded companion to the Bluetooth headphones we reviewed several weeks ago (Sync by 50), and the whole SMS Audio lineup with 50 Cent’s name on them appear and sound rather alike. Thusly what we’ll do here is let you know the differences between the headphones and the earbuds as well as discussing the sound quality as we did with that set before – get ready for more blue cables, zippers, and logos than you can handle!

Jabra Speak 410 Review

, Jun 5th 2012 Discuss [0]

What we’ve got on the review bench today is another quality audio product from a company known to make such great devices, this time in the form of a Conference Call aimed speakerphone: the Jabra Speak 410. This device is able to act as a speakerphone by connecting to your PC via USB, sound coming from the 3.5mm headset jack or its own speaker, with sound-in covered by one omni-directional microphone allowing what Jabra notes (and we agree) is a 1-to-2 meter range. This speaker works with Windows machines and Apple computers of all kinds with both plug-and-play capabilities as well as included drivers on a mini-CD in the box – if need be.

SuperTooth Crystal Bluetooth in-car Speakerphone Review

, Jun 4th 2012 Discuss [3]

It’s time once again for SuperTooth to bring on an in-car speakerphone world to a boiling point with the SuperTooth Crystal. This device is nearly as iconically shaped as its predecessor with the SuperTooth HD, and certainly has enough functionality to make up for the fact that it doesn’t look quite as flashy. Here in the Crystal you’ve got exactly what SuperTooth promises: high quality in-car Bluetooth connected speakerphone action.

Chewbacca MIMOMICRO microSD Card Reader Review

, Jun 1st 2012 Discuss [0]

The Mimoco Chewbacca MIMOMICRO microSD Card Reader may well be the tiniest piece of hardware we’ve ever reviewed here on SlashGear, and I do dare say the cutest as well. What we’ve got here is a Star Wars inspired microSD Card Reader coming straight from the folks who are now famous for creating the most excitingly vibrant USB flashdrives on the planet. Here instead of calling them Mimobots, they’ve called them MIMOMICRO due to their slightly changed functionality – and wouldn’t you know it, they world just as fabulous!

If you’ve always wanted a pair of completely wireless Bluetooth headphones but price has been your hold-back factor until now, you’re in luck. The folks at Tenqa have released “Tenqa REMXD” and we’ve got our hands on a pair this week. They’re just $39.99, which should place your eyes directly at their price point first and formost, but they sound pretty darn nice when it comes down to it as well.
