AAXA Technologies launches P300 Pico projector

The folks at AAXA Technologies presents a version 2 of the world's first laser powered pocket projector. This AAXA L1 v2 Laser Pico Projector improves upon the first by increating thermal efficiency of its PCOS laser light engine. Now only do you get color, this device's three-color laser light source enables it to procude images with fabulous color saturation, always in focus. Sounds pretty neat, yes? Sounds pretty fantastic. This pocket projector combines a "revolutionary" laser light source, proprietary despeckling technology, and an LCoS imager to produce 800 x 600 resolution and 20 lumen output with no pixelation problems. AAXA M2 Micro Projector: XGA resolution and HDMI for $369

With its bigger-than-palm-size scale, you can't really call AAXA's new M2 projector "pico", but for a micro-projector it certainly offers reasonable specs. AAXA L1 laser pico-projector: focus-free but madly expensive

Pico-projector company AAXA have outed their latest model, and the L1 carves a niche for itself by using LCoS laser technology rather than the more usual DLP.  The AAXA L1 is capable of projecting up to a 20-lumens 50-inch picture at 800 x 600 resolution, and thanks to the lasers it's all focus-free: no frustrating focus wheel to twiddle, just point and go.  In fact it can even project clearly onto curved surfaces.
