Galaxy Note 6 seen on CPU-Z with 5.8-inch screen, 6GB RAM

While Apple has seemingly taken a break from its phone size expansion, Samsung is showing no signs of stopping. At least not for its Galaxy Note series and not according to leaks and sources. A screenshot of the benchmarking CPU-Z hints that the Galaxy Note 6, expected to debut sometime in September, will not only be larger, though ever so slightly, than its predecessor but will also have more RAM to boot. It might also be larger in other places too, even in its overall design.

Samsung Galaxy C line to sport mid-range specs in metal bodies

Samsung Galaxy C line to sport mid-range specs in metal bodies

The age of cheap all-plastic smartphones might finally be over. At least as far as Samsung is concerned. While its entry level Galaxy J series might still bear the cost-friendly material, it also has traces of metal to flaunt. In contrast, the Korean manufacturer's upcoming Galaxy C family will supposedly be all metal. But it won't only be the outside that will be premium. While not flagship-level, the Galaxy C5, which is supposedly the first of its kind, will have decent mid-range specs to boast about.

Galaxy Note 6, G Flex3 to use beefed up Snapdragon 823

Qualcomm has barely had time to enjoy its return to prominence after a disastrous 2015 and already the rumor mill is starting to churn for its next mobile processor. Given the amount of flak it received for the Snapdragon 810, however, the chip maker seems to be proceeding with more caution this time around. With most of the early 2016 flagships already on the loose, attention it turning to the later half's stars, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 and a surprising LG G Flex3. Both, say sources, will run on a Snapdragon 823 instead of the 820.
