Six months of Arkham Knight DLC will run you $40, season pass incoming

Today Warner Bros. and Rocksteady announced have a pricey DLC season pass in the works for Batman: Arkham Knight. The season pass will be good for six months after the game's June 23rd release date. This latest game in the Arkham series will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC; I have a feeling that this is going to be the game that will make finally set aside my PS3 and hop onboard the PS4. In that case, there's always the Batman: Arkham Knight PS4 Bundle.

Minecraft for PS4 to get ‘The Simpsons’ skin pack tomorrow

Earlier this year, Minecraft players got a The Simpsons skin pack for Minecraft…if they were using an Xbox, that is. We did a mini review of sorts to give a look at the skin pack, and now those on the PlayStation 4 who have been waiting will also be able to get it. The DLC is set to drop this week, and if all goes as anticipated, we’ll be seeing it hit the PlayStation Store on April 28 (that’s tomorrow).

This game will be released to multiple platforms, like Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and it'll be strongly rooted in the classic Star Wars universe. This game aims to bring the most advanced graphics and in-canon gameplay to the public with as much emphasis on original trilogy legitimacy as possible. In short - it's gonna be awesome. And it's gonna be coming to game consoles and gaming PCs right around the same time as the next Star Wars movie, to boot.

Final Fantasy fans who have stuck around even up to the MMORPG incarnations of the franchise are in for a treat. Square Enix has revealed not one but two cinematic trailers for Heavensward, the largest update the online game will be getting since A Realm Reborn. Though it's still two months away, that is, if all goes according to schedule, the trailers will definitely serve as tasty appetizers to adventurers in Eorzea who have been left hanging with the events that took place in the last chapter of the game.

Mortal Kombat X Review: it has begun

Mortal Kombat X Review: it has begun

This is the Mortal Kombat you've been waiting for. Gone are the sweeping orb-like arenas of the 2000s, gone are the overly-complex schemes of the Kombat episodes of the lost era. Mortal Kombat X is a blood-stained dream come true: everything that made the original Mortal Kombat series a hit mixed with the graphics and technical finesse of today. While I'll always be a fan of the original lineup, even the new characters are fun to play and interesting to learn about - imagine that!

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided revealed, as dark as ever

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided revealed, as dark as ever

While advancements in technology bring us closer to a future where technology and human life are brought closer than ever, the future that games like Deus Ex depict are nothing like the dreamy high tech utopia that tech companies paint. Instead, it is almost like Blade Runner-esque dystopia that magnifies the already existing divide between those who embrace technology whole heartedly, even into their bodies, and those who abhor the very notion. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided puts that schism under a microscope, in a medium that is easy to grasp by almost anyone.

Limited Edition PS4 Batman: Arkham Knight bundle unveiled

Sony has announced the new Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Batman: Arkham Knight bundle. With the bundle comes a Steel Grey PS4 console decked out with a partial silhouette of Batman and a subtle emblem reading out the name of the game. A controller with the same steel grey color is included with the bundle, as well as the expected game. That's not the only bundle Sony will be offering, however; it has a second similar one up its sleeve, only for a lower price point and with less flashy designs for those who find that option more preferable.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is not a AAA release

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is not a AAA release

Don't panic yet - Assassin's Creed Chronicles is not a replacement for the top-tier release of the series that's been happening for several years on end. Instead, Assassin's Creed Chronicles, all three parts of it, is an extension of the craft. Much like the game's separate release schedule for PlayStation 3 with Assassin's Creed Rogue, this game will be released separate from the main series. This game trilogy is a 2.5D game - that's two-and-a-half dimensional - as opposed to the 3D we see in the AAA releases for the series.
