LEGO WALL-E set surfaces ahead of launch

LEGO WALL-E set surfaces ahead of launch

We've known for a while that LEGO would be bringing to fruition a WALL-E set, and now images that are (probably) of it have surfaced via a toy retailer's website. The set won't be available to purchase until this holiday season, and LEGO hasn't made an official unveiling on its Ideas blog yet. The retailer's website presents three images, however, two of them showing the set's box and one showing the blocky plastic WALL-E robot himself. It looks similar to the original Ideas project's WALL-E.

You can play LEGO Minecraft right this minute

LEGO releases its own Minecraft competitor video game at long last, available on Windows PC through Steam. The game is being released with Steam Early Access first, making certain it makes an impact with the community before it makes a full-powered global launch. This sort of release is similar to what Mojang originally did with Minecraft, allowing the community to have their say before they eventually, gradually, slowly pushed it to platform after platform. This version of the LEGO Worlds game will eventually make its way to living room consoles as well.

I was an Avengers’ Black Widow apologist before today

I was an Avengers’ Black Widow apologist before today

Last month I was an Avengers: Age of Ultron apologist for the likes of Black Widow (and to a lesser extent Hawkeye). I saw the press materials without the two of these folks, and I was with the camp that said the Main Men were More Marketable. They are, aren't they? Captian America, Thor, Iron Man, and The Hulk - they're all really recognizable. But to steal a toy from Our Lady Of The Kill - isn't that going too far? Captain America, can't you just let her have this one?

LEGO Star Wars Death Star Final Duel revealed in full

Of particular interest in this set is the fact that, for the first time in a LEGO Minifigure, Darth Vader's helmet comes in two parts.
