Only yesterday we saw the ASUS Eee PC T91 slip through the FCC like a well-oiled stoat; today, the UK version of the convertible touchscreen netbook has landed on the sturdy desk of Electricpig.  It’s early-days, but their initial trotters-on feedback is that the T91’s touchscreen is responsive to the included stylus but tricky to control just with a finger.

ASUS’ Eee PC T91 convertible touchscreen netbook has cleared the FCC, and the team there have done their usual job of stripping the hardware down to its more wirelessly-active components and taking fuzzy photos of each.  It’s heaven for would-be T91 upgraders, of course, as it allows them to start making a list of possible tweaks.

As expected, ASUS have announced new variants on the Eee PC 1008HA “Seashell”; unexpectedly, however, this isn’t the 1005HAB as was tipped on the company’s support site, but the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-M and 10005HA-H.  The two new netbooks borrow the same sleek styling as the 1008HA, but pair it with removable batteries: a 2,200mAh good for 8hrs in the 1005HA-M, and a 2,800mAh good for 10hrs in the 1005-HA-5.

We’ve had some much-anticipated and long-awaited gadgets land at SlashGear this week, so we’ve gone overboard with unboxing videos and hands-on galleries.  The Verizon MiFi 2200 only had its official announcement earlier this week, but we’ve been waiting for the Novatel EVDO-hotspot for so long you must forgive us some excitement.  Meanwhile the Vodafone HTC Magic has the honor of being only the second Android phone to the market, while the Tonium Pacemaker manages to offer something unique in a sea of PMPs.
