Sony Ericsson Vivaz official (again); gets hands-on play

Having been prematurely revealed yesterday, Sony Ericsson have officially announced the Vivaz S60 smartphone, the device formerly known as the Kurara.  Expected to drop in Q1 2010, the Vivaz has an 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera capable of 720p HD video recording, 3G and WiFi.  A couple of European bloggers have already managed to grab some hands-on time with the phone. Creative Vado HD camcorder boosts low-light performance

Creative's latest point-and-shoot camcorder has emerged, and though the feature list isn't exactly overwhelming it's a decent update over the second-gen version.  The new Creative Vado HD still grabs 720p high-definition footage but now the company are claiming improved low-light and bright-light performance together with out-of-the-box compatibility with both PCs and Macs. ODROID Android handheld gets HD TV/gaming video demo

Last we saw of the ODROID Android Entertainment device was a spec-sheet and some tiny images; now, at least, we know they have a working prototype.  The company has sent us a video demonstrating the ODROID's HD movie-out connectivity, as well as some big-screen gameplay, with the gaming handheld's ARM Cortex A8 processor proving just as capable as we've seen from the iPhone 3GS. We're used to Brando having a selection of - dare we say it - moderately rubbish USB peripherals and other novelty nonsense, but their latest PMP actually has us tempted.  The 7-inch touchscreeen bmorn BM-888 apparently supports 720p video through a TV output, and can play back MPEG (AVI), RM, RMVB and FLV video files along with lossless audio and image files.
