Nintendo cancels 3D TV service and Aqua Blue 3DS

When Nintendo first launched the 3DS, a separate 3D TV service was announced for Japan called "Itsu no Ma ni Terebi". The service was launched in June last year and served up short video clips of 3D content to viewers for free. Nintendo has announced that they’re planning to cancel the service on June 20th, only a year after it first launched and with a million viewers served.

Chinese brand Haier recently presented a large 55-inch 3DTV that's truly wireless. It uses the Wireless Home Digital Interface (WHDI) technology to stream content and magnetic resonance to power the TV. Panasonic’s first 3D LED TVs Debuting in 2011

In 2011, Panasonic's Viera TV line will include the brand's first 3D LED TVs. The DT30 series will include two TVs, the 32-inch TX-L37DT30, and the 37-inch TX-L37DT30. These panels will add mid-size TVs to the larger plasma TVs that Panasonic already offers. They will have IPS panels for a wide viewing angle, and the addition of improved motion response and Intelligent Frame Creation to produce cross-talk-free 3D images, according to Panasonic.
