This machine builds on the abilities of the past with the original Looxcie Bluetooth video camera that we reviewed back in April of 2011. It's here, folks. The next generation of smartphone specs is arriving in the form of faster processors and larger displays. Popular Chinese brand Xiaomi is rumored to be releasing a smartphone with some crazy hardware. We're talking a quad-core Tegra 4 chip, 2.5GB of RAM, and a 1080p display. OPPO Find 5 aims big: 5-inch 1080p display and 13MP camera

Smartphone firm OPPO has outed its latest handset, the OPPO Find 5, and it's shaping up to be a doozy: 5-inch 1080p display like the DROID DNA, 13-megapixel camera, and a slick stainless steel casing. The Find 5 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Qualcomm's 1.5GHz quadcore APQ8064 processor, with a healthy 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage; it doesn't get LTE, but it does support up to 42Mbps HSPA+ with its quadband 3G modem.

LG F240K smartphone shows up in GLBenchmark with 1080p display

With the world currently going crazy over smartphones with high-definition displays, it's no wonder that manufacturers all want a slice of the high-end pie. We're seeing it with HTC's latest, the DROID DNA, and a new GLBenchmark listing suggests that it won't be long before LG has a 1080p smartphone of its own to offer consumers. Benchmarks for a new phone called the LG F240K have appeared, and if the results are anything to go on, this is going to be one nice smartphone.

HTC has gone all out with the DROID DNA, and it pays dividends: the new Verizon exclusive breaks records with its 1080p display, putting HTC back into the limelight with a legitimate flagship. A Full HD screen, 4G LTE, and a quadcore S4 Pro chipset tick the spec boxes more comprehensively than we've ever seen before, though big displays and fast processors do make us worry when the battery is non-removable.
