Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook Full HD edition guns for MacBook Air

This week the Dell XPS 13 has been re-introduced with a Full HD iteration, this version prompting the manufacturer to suggest that it's not just the MacBook Pro they're gunning for, it's the MacBook Air. This device has already been revealed and released in a 720p edition - we reviewed it right here on SlashGear, in fact - and here in 2013 the Dell team is showing off not just the Full HD version, but an XPS 13 Developer Edition as well, this time with the same display as the original (now called "standard display") but here based on Project Sputnik. And it's all about definition from here on in.

Smartphone firm OPPO has outed its latest handset, the OPPO Find 5, and it's shaping up to be a doozy: 5-inch 1080p display like the DROID DNA, 13-megapixel camera, and a slick stainless steel casing. The Find 5 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Qualcomm's 1.5GHz quadcore APQ8064 processor, with a healthy 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage; it doesn't get LTE, but it does support up to 42Mbps HSPA+ with its quadband 3G modem.

LG F240K smartphone shows up in GLBenchmark with 1080p display

With the world currently going crazy over smartphones with high-definition displays, it's no wonder that manufacturers all want a slice of the high-end pie. We're seeing it with HTC's latest, the DROID DNA, and a new GLBenchmark listing suggests that it won't be long before LG has a 1080p smartphone of its own to offer consumers. Benchmarks for a new phone called the LG F240K have appeared, and if the results are anything to go on, this is going to be one nice smartphone.
