ViewSonic's latest LCD display has gone up for preorder, and the 27-inch monitor is apparently the world's first Full HD display with a 1ms response time.  The ViewSonic VX2739wm is, unsurprisingly, being targeted at gamers, but it's also multimedia-friendly with 1080p HD resolution and SRS Premium Sound stereo 2W speakers. ASUS Eee PC 1215N: dual-core 1.5GHz Atom, NVIDIA Ion, Optimus & July release?

More details on the ASUS Eee PC 1215N are seeping out, ahead of the netbook's expected debut on May 13th, and it's shaping up to be a pretty impressive ultraportable.  According to AllAboutEeePC the 1215N will indeed have the new dual-core 1.5GHz Pine Trail Atom N500 processor expected to hit production in July, together with NVIDIA's Ion GPU.  However, unlike the Eee PC 1215PN, the 1215N will support NVIDIA Optimus for automatic graphics switching. Intel Moorestown graduates: Atom Z6xx promises smartphone/MID/tablet prowess

We've been talking about Moorestown for months now, but the platform has finally come of age and matured into Intel's Atom Z6xx series of mobile processors.  The new 45nm chips currently range from 1.5GHz through to 1.9GHz, and bundle Intel GMA600 3D graphics, video encode and decode, as well as memory (up to 2GB) and display controllers onto a single SoC; that's good enough for PC-style multitasking, 1080p Full HD video and lengthy battery life in smartphones, MIDs, tablets and smartbooks. A live shot and initial specifications of what's said to be Sony's EX3 3D camcorder prototype has emerged, together with the promise that a commercial version is on its way.  According to Engadget's sources, the Sony EX3 has six CMOS chips - three for each lens - taken from a pair of PMW-EX3 studio cameras, each capable of recording 35Mbps 1080p 4:2:0 MPEG-2 video. Marvell Moby MED multi-display medical tablet outlined [Updated]

Marvell have already shown us one new Android tablet reference design, the Marvell Moby, but the company have a second concept, the Moby MED which sounds a whole lot more interesting.  Targeted at "telehealth" use, Marvell envisage the Moby MED as having "multiple simultaneous" LCD or e-paper displays, together with 1080p Full HD encode and decode, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and an integrated camera for web conferencing and remote diagnosis. Cedar Trail M next-gen Atom CPUs getting 1080p Wireless Display

Fresh details on Intel's upcoming Cedar Trail M platform - the replacement to the current Intel Atom N4x0 Pine Trail processors - have emerged courtesy of Fudzilla, and it seems that Intel are looking to push HD video performance with their new netbook chips.  Cedar Trail M processors CPUs will apparently support 1080p HD video streaming courtesy of Intel's Wireless Display system, currently available on select Calpella-based notebooks. Toshiba REGZA HDTVs with integrated HDD or USB storage outed

Toshiba Japan have updated their REGZA HDTV range, with select models supporting USB hard-drives or coming with 500GB of storage built-in.  The Toshiba REGZA R1 series - made up of 32-, 37- and 42-inch sets - and REGZA H1 series - made up of 32- and 37-inch sets - each have a USB port and Full HD resolution (bar on the 32-inch models, which get 720p support).  Meanwhile there's also the entry level Toshiba REGZA A1 series, with 19-, 22- and 26-inch models all offering 720p HD resolution. Socle sPad A11 tablet platform should fast-track iPad rivals

Apple's iPad is on the market (in the US at least), rivals from Notion Ink, Toshiba, HP and others are expected sometime this year; if you're a manufacturer and want a tablet of your own then you need all the shortcuts you can get.  SoC manufacturer Socle Technology have pitched up with GlobalFoundries 65nm chipset, an ARM Mali 3D GPU and full 1080p HD hardware decoding in their sPad A11 Design and Development platform.  More complete and more powerful than Apple's A4, so Socle say, the sPad A11 supports Android and other Linux platforms complete with 3D graphics and multitasking. Sharp Japan has announced their latest range of HDTVs, the AQUOS DX3 series, with screen sizes ranging from 32- to 52-inches and each packing an integrated Blu-ray recorder.  The Sharp AQUOS LC-52DX3, LC-46DX3 and LC-40DX2 all support Full HD 1080p resolution on screens measuring 52-, 46- and 40-inches respectively, together with 2m:1 contrast ratios, ethernet and BD-LIVE support.
