The fact that they have a “portrait orientation” didn’t even consciously cross my mind until just now. .and their placement on the table is close enough to symmetrical that I simply assumed that it *was* symmetrical, which is what one would expect to see if those were displays.

Now, though, I’m wondering if they might not be set just a little bit off-center and at slightly different angles to the near side of the table. . .and, come to think of it, there’s no good design reason for a display to have a corner that protrudes over the edge of the table like both of these devices do, or to project upwards from the surface of the table; and, now that I *really* come to think of it, that table is just big enough to seat the mission’s three-person science team. . .but only if those *aren’t* fixed displays!

I unfortunately have the Samsung Fascinate and its nearly identical to my old iPhone except it works a lot crappier.. I still have to start GPS 10 minutes before I leave the house.

One reason I bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 phone was specifically to avoid Apple and their greedy closed ecosystem attitude. If anything, these lawsuits have increased my desire to avoid Apple products in future. Terrible PR Apple, plain stupid.
