I still concerned even more about this merger, and to tell the truth keep T-Mobile, later for at&t. I forswear problems already that going to leave alot of people stuck between a rock and hard place especially if you are on contract???, I say if anything give it to Sprint, they keeping their customers happy w/service and updated phones for the system and heading in the direction of LTE, if not then help and leave T-Mobile as is.

This is going to be an interesting transition…these huge companies merging is gonna change some things. There goes the whole unlimited data thing, who offers that type of stuff anymore? probably for an expensive price or maybe a prepaid service. I’ve been checking around and StraightTalk and Net10 are some of the best deals out there.

I dislike AT&T with a passion. This merger is going to be a disaster for T Mobile customers.I was with AT&T for a while, and they kept charging me thousands of dollars on my bill!!! Every time I received a bill from them I was on the phone for hours trying to get it all resolved. Can anyone suggest another carrier?

Well, besides T-Mobile’s network currently running at about 10% capacity. Also take into consideration the additional spectru. AT&T will have one of the fastest and least stressed networks once all is said and done.

I’ve been with Sprint since 2002 and have no major problems and their customer service are great and easy to talk to. Plus, you will get a $125 when you switch.

Because you don’t want the benefit of AT&T *and* T-mobile tower coverage for the same price?

Fine, move to a small carrier. They’ll only charge you small roaming fees when you pass from Sprint over to Verizon towers. Hey, doesn’t THAT sound great?

I’ll stay put and enjoy my extra coverage.
Bam – millions of new towers on my network.

But please do go – along with the people who pinkie swore they were going to take their iPhones to Verizon – that frees up network bandwidth as well.

Regarding “only having a year for their [T-Mobile] G2x’s,” you could have picked almost any other T-Mobile 3G or 4G phone, but the G2x is coming with UMTS support for both the T-Mobile bands (2100/1700 MHz) and the AT&T bands, also used in Europe (850 and 1900 MHz), so the G2x looks to be “future proof,” at least until LTE comes in, which is not supported by any current T-Mobile or AT&T phones.
