in your review, you mentioned you are using the SG II, can you tell me what carrier do use it in the US? Also, are you able to use the carrier's network at 4G or 2G? I am considering buying the SG II and use it on Tmobile but not sure if i will take advantage of the 4G. Please, share your experience.
I like the Sensation 4G but from all the readings, people are complaining about the call and speaker quality. The last thing i want is to struggle with the basic functions of the Sensation: making calls, receiving calls, be able to hear and been heard by people clearly. Also, i read that you cannot give voice commands via bluetooth to make calls. Am i wrong?
Can you tell me if this phone has DST (day time saving) for those of us on the east coast? Also how many languages can you use on this phone? I speak french and german and want to write text and emails in my languages and switch between french, german and english.
you can send replies to my yahoo email: khaddem1@yahoo.com.
Thank you .

I had a download speed of 8.9 mbps (Burst), but average 5.7 mbp in Brooklyn with this phone, and the Battery lasted all day for me. I have to say, combine that with a 4.3 screen, and I have been won over.
Great Job HTC!!

Dude, you had a rotten lemon. I've been through four of these myself - and finally, littile to no leakage, no battery issues, no reboots, and the device performs the way it was intended to perform. The Sensation 4G has a better build quality and the qHD display. And the qHD display (resolution) is why the Quadrant scores are disappointing for a 1.2 GHz smartphone. Speed wise, the G2x can out perform it. I'm feasting on the GS II and the next Nexus phone. P.S. HTC's speakers suck dick !!!

The G2x is PURE GARBAGE. BOTTOM LINE. I kept mine for a week, then returned it bc I constantly had to keep it charging. What's the benefit of having a mobile phone that's not wireless????? Add this to the fact that there r noooo LED notification lights....A FAST PIECE OF DEAD GARBAGE

That's funny...I wonder if you know that the qHD lowers the quadrant numbers for the Sensation? More pixels to push for the GPU meaning lower numbers? So I guess I'll keep the amazing build quality of the Sensation over the screen bleeding of the g2x. Vanilla Google? As if anyone outside of our realm can tell the difference.

Great, comprehensive review. Feeling comfortable that my choice of the Sensation over the Galaxy S2 was a good one.

Also, I've read the call quality on the Samsung isn't great - is that right?

PS. The Weezer clip made my ears bleed.

G2x. The G2x is putting up better numbers than the Sensation right now, and that's on Froyo. When that Gingerbread and software fix kick in, expect a performance increase which should blow past what its doing now. The only thing the Sensation has over the G2x: a better build and the qHD display. Other than that, the G2x is your better device—performance wise. The GS II and the next Nexus is what you should be looking for this year, other than the G2x. Not impressed with HTC lately like the review says.
